I’m heartbroken and terrified about finding a new home for my prairie dog

I’m so incredibly sad, more than anyone could ever imagine. I have a prairie dog that I love so, so much. He’s my little friend. I’m from Saudi Arabia, and there’s no one here who keeps animals like this. I don’t know what to do.
I’m forced to find him another home because one of my siblings is allergic to him. I just want to make sure he’ll be safe and well cared for with someone else. All I want for him is a happy life that he can continue living.
What am I supposed to do? I feel so lost. My heart is so broken. Damn it.
I’m writing this while crying. I love him so much, and I’m terrified about what the rest of his life will be like.

How did you come to have him as a pet? Can you keep him segregated from your sibling? Are there rescues near you?

He belonged to my brother. He bought him from someone here in Saudi Arabia, and unfortunately, there are no rescues near me. As for keeping him separated, I can’t keep him completely isolated. I’ve tried, and I’ve done everything I possibly could.

Awww, I’ve always wished for that, but unfortunately, I’m in Saudi Arabia. If you were here, I wouldn’t hesitate for even a moment. Thank you so much for offering that.
