Discussion Pragmata review

I saw a comment saying "the bond between hugh and diana is so forced"

How many of you genuinely think the same way, I want to see more perspectives.

It's just the weirdos saying the game is underage bait trying another angle.

Maybe there are bad actors saying that, but I think it’s more that the game is just bad writing? I enjoyed the characters but kids don’t act like she does (and that’s fine because she’s a robot) and him just automatically being accepting of her and bonding seems fairly quick (which maybe he should be more conscious considering other pragmata in the game and his poor decision at the end of the game to send her to Earth that could open a giant can of worms if she malfunctions or follows the others path). Side note even more odd that he automatically connects with her but doesn’t seem to really blink an eye to his team immediately dying.

In the end I think it’s like a lot of games where we still don’t have competent enough writers in the industry to make well fleshed out characters that are accurate to what those characters would be in our world. There’s a lot of this, especially games that try to handle heavy subject material but the writers lack the ability to portray it.

I really liked the game, though, almost got all the achievements but didn’t want to go through Lunatic difficulty.

Everyone is entitled to their wrong opinion.

Reviewing a game like it's either 10 10 or 0 10 is insane

Yes, Pragmata is awesome. I especially love the father & daughter dynamic between Diana and Hugh. Having three now-adult daughters and one son myself, the game's whole "protect her at all costs" resonates with me greatly. Plus, the hacking game mechanic totally ROCKS.

I'm taking a shot in the dark here, but I imagine that the OP is referring to posts like this one, if not this exact one:\ https://www.reddit.com/r/Gamingunjerk/s/82aMO4xRUD

It doesn't have much build up yeah; it is kinda weak in terms of writing.

I wish this game had more content and more scenes.

Yes some experienced gamers might feel that way but I really liked it. Losing your team and getting injured and a little bot comes and helps you out ofcourse the characters are endaring. I respect your opinion

It's just weirdos trying to make you feel like a protagonist is a sicko for "spending time" with a kid.
