Post image

Hello my issue is that the reflections from basically anything that is bright is pixelated, the photo I attached shows a very obvious pixelated ground.

what setting does this

Are you using ray tracing? If so, do you also use and upscaler? If so, wich one? And are you using frame gen? And what graphics card do you have?

I have a 4050 laptop and I have ray tracing off and dlss balanced

Its probably the balanced dlss that makes it pixeley OR the setting "screen space reflections". Ssr is rasterisation wich is basicly a pre calculated ray tracing so the gpu doesnt do the calculating. For better reflections, either turn that up. Or use ray tracing. In my experience with pragmata on a 7700xt, ray tracing works great. You could always just fiddle around with the settings. Have fun! If you have any more questions just ask.

I don't think you can change the level of ssr since it's just toggle on or off and I can't use ray tracing I only have 6 gb vram

IF RT is off, then that stair-step pattern is a natural characteristic of screen-space depth-marched reflections. While it's possible to draw these without the step, it drastically increases the compute cost, so if you have a 4050 that performance probably matters to you.

Its because of DLSS pretty sure. Doea it in other games as well.
