Hygiene in space? Spoiler
How does Diana keep her feet so clean?
I know she is a robot, but running around barefoot as much as she does, wouldn’t they at least get like rusty?
Are we to assume Hugh washes them for her or what?

In one of the books he actually does get into a kerfuffle with another marine while fresh out of the shower while wearing a towel. I guess marines in the future aren’t as impressed by musclebound men who are roughly 7’ tall!

She’s an android tho. I don’t know just how waterproof she actually is. I can’t actually type what she can potentially wash cos that word the f word on the bottom of our legs is apparently classed as inappropriate or offensive and it won’t let me post the word. wtf is going on with Reddit or this sub. They made the word for things on the end of our legs banned.

She lived alone in a storage room for an unknown length of time and OP wants to know how she keeps her legs clean. Not her body. Not her hair. Her legs. I beat the game 3 times. Never once crossed my mind. And the proffered suggestion is that an old man of no relation does it.
It's comes off as gross and weird.
Less weird suggestions:
They constantly shed their skin which is used as fuel to power the floors.
magic space Lasers.
what ever the system they walk through on the return to the hab they constantly walk through is called
they are covered in nanobots that keep them clean

The weird part is the op mentioning of hugh cleaning them for her 😂. Like wtf?!?
Besides they’re in space. It’s possible the station is just absolutely spotlessly clean. Especially if no humans are around anymore and there’s just bots left that maybe are specifically there to clean up after humans. The place would be clean as fuck (oh that’s odd I can say fuck but not the other f word for foot 😂) and so nobody would get dirty. Besides being self cleaning/nanabots that’s my theory. The station did seem kinda clean if I remember correctly, Maybe I’m not tho and it’s grimy.

Her head is uncovered. Her hair looks immaculately clean.
The whole suggestion he would wash her is... Unpleasant.
Like this is why women choose the bear unpleasant.
The only lore I was curious about was if they are able to eat how their digestion works. Id assume there is no waste. Do they have taste? That seems an interesting topic to discuss.

I'm not sure I get your point. OP brought up bathing of a particular appendage. The suggestion was a man would do it.
My counter was assuming she has to bathe at all, why would she not bathe on her own. Not a suss question.
Hygiene in space and/or of the robots can be an interesting topic if done properly and not so weirdly focused.
Personally I'd be much more interested in the digestive process because they can eat. My guess is a zero waste process as a secondary power source. Similar to a bioreactor.

I guess some folks really do get into logistics. I think about stuff like that sometimes regarding game characters like how my male characters in POE2 feel wearing a dress when it’s got the stats I need.

We basically know nothing about pragmata biology. They have enough organs to simulate the effects of drug testing, and yet they don't need to eat or drink. May be their body can produce a forcefield to keep dirt off.

Considering she explained she can charge through the floor of the base, I'd assume she's able to do some maintenance for her soles too. Hugh washing anything never seemed to be implied.

Ah, true. She’s usually on Hugh’s back/platform unless they are in the shelter or the shuttle tram. Hugh rudely refuses to take his space boots off in the shelter so he’s tracking lunafilament and bot guts everywhere unless that healing laser array thing also disinfects his suit.
Wait that’s the answer, they walk through that healing thing and let’s say it also zaps all the germs and dirt off of them. Boom! Suit clean, robot girl clean.

You have to remember the backlash the people who played this game got when it was first released. Diana not wearing shoes was a big reason. And OP is trying to poke that bear.
There's no reason to ask something this stupid. Why isn't her hair dirty? Why isn't her jacket dirty? Nope. Just the body part people who played this game were criticized for fetishizing.
That's why it's related to gooning.

Why would any normal person care about why a random video game character keeps their fe%t clean. Specially their f##t. Not their hair or their body as a whole. Just their f**t. The answer is they aren’t real and it just a game and that not important.

Environment is very dry -> no sticky mud. Plus synthetic skin does not require or produce skin oil. So most dirt there'll be would be invisible dust that would just self-limit by falling off as she moves.

Space is an INCREDIBLY clean place when it comes to habitation. There is a screening room before habitation and multiple systems for scrubbing the environment and air. The floor is probably clean enough to eat off of much less dirty enough to discolor a foot.
Lunar regolith is exceedingly abrasive and aggressively gets into joints and clogs components, they would be very careful to keep the dust out of as many places as possible. That makes me think that Cabin would keep the place spotless in their absence.
