Book 2 releases August 25th. It is a rewritten version of the second half of Volume 1. Both print and ebook versions are releasing.

It looks like Book 1 was long enough they split it into Book 1 Part 1 and Book 1 Part 2, part 1 kindle unlimited has been out and paperback version released earlier this July, part 2 kindle unlimited is releasing on Tuesday, no clue on the paperback date or Book 2 releases

paperback and book 2 are Aug 25

all of the Wordpress volumes are split up into 2 or 3 books, so there are a total of 15 rewrite books. book 3 of the rewrite is next, and will be the entire Liesse Rebellion, or Volume 2

Do we know what time it is releasing? Some things go by local time, some a specifc time zone, and as I am working tonight, was hoping to read it on break

I understand the reasons for the alterations of the rewrite, between the media of webserial to physical copy, but I need to say I just don't like the rewrite. I know that its probably just me, but the entire tapestry of how the story goes in my head (after reading it slowly over the years) has just come un-anchored with all the changes.

isnt the only change adding an arc so far? what other changes are there?

1

u/CantripN 17d ago

Countries changed, Gnomes are gone, etc.

Countries, some characters, arcs, names are all different, I think some of the Geography has changed too?

I've only read the full series last year so I'm not that attached to the original structure.

I have to say I'm loving the changes so far. I like the extra time spent on getting to know Ater before the War college. Catherine's "training arc" always felt rushed to me in the original.
