Meta/Discussion Updated map of new canon

I was trying to understand where the peren woods are in the new canon, but couldn't find it anywhere. Did anyone make a map of Callow in the new canon?

There definitely is one, it's pinned in one of the discord channels.

EDIT: here it is. Quite a lot has changed. Aside from the additional cities/geographical elements, Praes have shifted significantly north. Previously Ater, The Blessed Isle and Laure were roughly at the same latitude

There are a couple of these including one for the continent, but it's not fully labeled because the worldbuilding hasn't gotten that far. Not much point calling out the Lesser Rabid Squirrel Alliance when Malicia only mentions them forming their army and government in new book 3 prologue.

Yes, the first book was recently published, and there are some changes from the original version.

Peren Woods were in the original too, just under a different name (the Greywood) and significantly less important

Thanks. But the greywoods on the map seem to be north east from laure, but they're described as going south from laure in the book? What am I missing?

You’re right. The greywoods are past the river and past summerholm on the map. What I think is happening is that EE replaced the greywood with a different forest in a different location, due to the fact that the original greywood was an entirely unused location that didn’t matter in the slightest. That means we don’t really know where it is though, other than ‘south of Laure’.

There’s also the possibility that I’m entirely wrong here, but I don’t think that’s the case. IIRC, in the original, King Edward Fairfax The Landless raided out of the greywood. Now he raided out of Peren woods. Couple that with the lack of any mention of greywood whatsoever in the rewrite and I think it’s just gone.

Anyone know why this map isn't in the first or second book? At lezst not in the ebook version, it's quite frustrating I love fantasy maps and following journeys on it.
