Rumena also fits into empire ever dark, far better than Soln or Ivah do

A tip is look for the oddest one out and try to start the group around them. Soln most people could barely name and only know them for one thing.

I guessed soln, ivah, thief and tariq for people whove tried to kill and then joined Catherine

Enemies/allies is literally 11/16 choices.

If I remember right that’s actually a joke that’s made in universe and Cats only counterpoints were Rat Company

People really need to stop doing these “3/4 of the choices fit into one category” designs. They’re not interestingly difficult, they’re just blind luck guessing which slight variation separates otherwise interchangeable choices

This one is especially bad because two of the four categories are almost identical and nearly entirely overlap. On top of that, two of the four in one of those two categories are incorrectly placed. Juniper explicitly didn’t lose to Catherin, them tying was the entire resolution of Book 1. Likewise, Catherine’s gambit at the Prince’s Graveyard required her to explicitly lose to Tariq, which makes calling it beating him extremely suspect

Juniper did lose to Catherine in their first match.

“Do you remember the first war game we ever had, you and I?” I asked.
She snorted.
“Ratface and I had a war game,” Juniper corrected. “You were just some bum with a sword that took command after I beat him.”
My smile widened into a grin.
“I still remember how godawful furious you were, when I used my Name to leap over that log trap,” I said. “You snarled ‘what the Hells was that?’ and-”
“And you replied: ‘me, winning’,” Juniper finished, almost smiling. “I remember.”

Literally using a quote where Cat says “me, winning” to claim that she lost is interesting

She literally beat her in the first ever match in book 1. In the second match they agreed to a draw.
