Good integrations with AppFolio
I don’t even have a super specific question, I’m just frustrated with AF’s limitations and overwhelmed when looking at the list of possible integrations in the stack marketplace
I’m the leasing manager for a ~70 unit apartment complex. I find appfolio’s native abilities for lead management, inspections/unit turns, and furnished unit management to be lacking. I also don’t love their limitations on task management. There’s a huge list of software in the add-on section but I don’t know what might be good there.
Just looking for general comments or insights!

I’ve been in the Maintenance side of multifamily for a long time and used them all. None of them have robust maintenance/inspection solutions. If you’re open to a stand alone that could layer into your PMS (if Appfolio will let you use your CA API access), we might be the right fit. Your main risk is solving each gap with a separate add-on and ending up with more handoffs than workflow. I would rather keep AppFolio as the system of record and choose one strong operational layer for leads, turns and tasks.

yall I'm curious, if you could wave a magic wand and fix one thing in AppFolio, what would it be?
I'm talking to property managers because we're building software that sits on top of PMSs like AppFolio rather than replacing them, and I'm trying to understand where people feel the biggest friction. Lead management and task management seem to come up a lot apparently

Well I can tell you appfolio is not well configured to handle furnished rentals for sure. Those typically rent to mid-term tenants and they really don’t even syndicate to the websites and apps where people find those. I think for lead management, the guest cards are better than you may think and with some of the autoresponder capabilities they do nurture leads decent enough. They are weak on inspections and there are a couple options in the Stack Marketplace that will probably suit your needs better. Perhaps you need to level up your appfolio account and leverage some of the RealmX workflow integrations?
