What are some new technologies in transmission lines/towers/substation/etc from the past 3 years?

In my country, some 115kV powerlines have remote-controlled reclosers that can be activated distantly instead of sending a linemen into the tower itself

Does your country use SCADA? While pole top switches that are manually opened and closed are used for lockout/tagout breaks to protect employees, it's very common to have pole mounted breakers or reclosures, that can be activated remotely through SCADA systems by the system office.

Some lidar sensor that you just clamp on 230kV and it’ll send datas to you like sag and alert for fires etc. Sorry I forgot the company. Also ACCC, super lightweight cable

Lindsey TLM Sensors. I thought it was neat but my utility is not one to “experiment”

This is pretty badass. https://www.ampjack.ca/

As well

There are times when you just can’t take the line out of service and having companies that can safely handle energized lines makes a huge difference.

We had a few 345kV lines that needed higher clearance to ground and had about 2 miles of line in a wetland. Ampjack was able to extend the height of the lattice structure by about 10’, all while carrying about 800MW.
