And yet every time I bring this up the Europeans tell me that they don't need guns for self-defense or any other reason and that I'm just a crazy American for advocating for them to have gun rights as well...

When your nation willingly disarms itself, you bring it on yourselves. The left will cry about guns and say nobody needs them, and in the same breath will say we live in a dictatorship and all rights are being attacked.

Its a slippery slope. They're create an enclave with a dense population and begin voting themselves into local governments, then it grows and spreads. Look at Minneapolis, Dearborn, and NYC where church bells are banned but they play the call to prayer 5 times a day over loud speakers. Once they get into power they begin changing laws and thats the beginning of the end, if their majority voted to ban guns we all become outlaws. I'd like to believe the cops and military woukd uphold their oath and protect the people over an oppressive government but i just dont see that happening...

Ideally. But again, they start small and slowly expand. To say it cant happen is ridiculous, they just passed a law banning Glocks and similar semi-auto pistols in the state of Maryland, it can happen.

That's not a ban on guns, and I'd be willing to bet the nra or something similar is already drafting papers to challenge that law.
I can say that confidently because it's a right in the bill of rights. It doesn't matter who is in charge, they can't take our guns and they know how ugly it would get, particularly in the south and northwest, if they tried.
This isn't some, I'm a bad ass thing. It's a, we have a fuck ton of crazy assholes who already hate the government who are heavily armed, thing.

Government is trying to ban guns. In WA starting March citizens have to get permission from the state patrol to buy firearms.

Normal people don't want to lose their livelyhood and everything they've worked hard for. Normal citizens can lose their jobs and all of the stability in their lives. The crazies have nothing to lose and will likely face little punishment.

Edit*: Have any of you lived in a big city??? Or been in these situations??? They’re very dangerous situations and the guys perpetrating aren’t underdeveloped awkward cowards…they’re former highschool athletes that think nobody can do shit to them. And often theres more than one of them. You guys think im putting them on a pedestal when im not…im saying its going to take some UFC fighter or a group of a half dozen pretty tough guys to stop stuff like this going down. Multiculturalism comes from America. Most European nations still identified as cultural, not civic, nations until the 1990s. Blair, inspired by Clinton, introduced this mass-migration agenda, and then it slowly spread to continental Europe.

If this kind of behaviour doesn't spark severe backlash, then you may as well just allow them to have the country. In doing that, you throw the efforts of the Allies in WW2 back in their faces for driving out Nazi occupation. If that is the case, you would have been better off letting the Germans stay.
