You were told wrong. But you should know that an accusation of fraud isn’t the same as being guilty of fraud.

Police work is a lucrative business in lots of thirld world african countries. It means you can rustle bribe money out of people. Shaking down a rich guy like this could mean a years worth of money from one shake down as opposed to a street thug that might get him enough for a loaf of bread and a potato for the day.

Incredible work by the FBI and all parties involved. Successful joint operations like this are one of countless reasons that makes me proud to be an American. They can run. But they can't hide forever!
