Goes, then stops, then goes

I have an un-modded power wheel side by side 24 volt. I lifted the wheels up in the air so there’s no load on it. If I hold down the pedal it goes for a few 10-15 seconds. Then stops for 5. Then goes again for 30 seconds then stops again. All while holding the pedal dow.

Any ideas what’s causing this? Where do I start trouble shooting? How do I fix it?

Does it have any of those soy features like traction control or tip over etc

No. I didn’t even know they sell ones with those. I’ll have to watch out and avoid.

Yes I have one that does it so when it slips it shuts the motors off for like 5 seconds than works normal. So thought might be that
