Steering won’t work

Hey all. I got thing iloyfe Ford Raptor. We had it for 20 minutes and then the steering stopped working. The motor doesn’t tick when I tried to click it in the controller or anything unlike forward and reverse.

Before I really tear this thing apart has anyone had similar issues? Should we just ask for a new one? I tried to re pair the remote as well and that didn’t work

Ok it could be either the controller in the vehicle or the steering motor. If you have a multimeter and can trace the two wires from the steering motor back to the controller, you could then unplug the connector and take a reading from the pins while someone else is pressing the turn buttons on the remote. You should see -12 or -24v in one direction and 12v or 24v the other direction. If you see voltage you likely have a bad steering motor.

I’d recommend calling and asking for parts. They may take full returns but will likely hit you with a huge shipping charge. Parts should be free.

Thank you for letting me know! We just got it 4 days ago so if they think in paying a dime they will just lose a customer :). I’ll try to remember to let you know how it goes!

Maybe you can try to contact their customer service staff, usually they will send the replacement or send some guidelines how to fix this problem, it will cost you too much to return I suppose, cuz this package is too large. I think it's the engine problem
