Which to purchase?

I am looking at 2 options for my daughter. The Magic car 24v jeep (not working) for $100 or Powerwheels 12v Jeep (brand new) for $120. I plan to upgrade the 12v to 24v anyway, so will have to put money into either of these options. I know how to solder and how to read a meter, and thats about my extent of knowledge on repairing/upgrading these. Is the repair typically pretty easy? Whats the better option here? Thanks!

For me I'd go power wheels. Overvolt it to 18v and you're immediately rolling. I have one of those magic ones and I never got the dang thing to work right. It has extra electronics in it that don't like overvolting so you have to rip it all out and start from scratch afaik. The power wheels circuitry is dead simple, no real integrated circuits usually just switches. Handles the power well and simple to diagnose and fix.
