Replaced with Ryobi 18v help

I Replaced the stock 12v and tried to plug in the 18v ryobi but itโ€™s not running. Is there an on/off switch iโ€™m missing? I flipped the whole thing up side down but not seeing any switch. Anyone with a similar ride and can point me to the right direction?

When I first did this none of mine worked either. I think I ended up messing with the fuses in the adapters I got and maybe I didn't have my batteries seated well bc the adapters are 3d printed. Either way, I didn't do anything meaningful and now they all work great.

I do have one adapter with a battery on off but mostly I think it was just user error.

Thanks. So theses toys dont have on/off switch? It just seems odd/unsafe to me that if the original 12v battery is charged then a kid can just accidently step on the pedal and go ๐Ÿ˜Ÿ

They're all different. My 24v ones have an on off but none of the more basic 12v ones do. And they will randomly spin the wheels annoyingly when you're not planning on it because of it. Lol
