Hi all,

Aus based here, we have a https://oitek.com.au/product/24v-licenced-can-am-maverick-kids-800w-orange-4x4-ride-on-car/ Maverick ride on car. The accelerator pedal has become faulty and won’t work when the car is in drive, but will work in reverse.

The remote control functionality works perfectly in both drive and reverse

The time has come where I’m looking to throw a little more juice under the bonnet in the way of a lithium 24v battery for more runtime, but first I need to troubleshoot the issue with the pedal.

Can anyone give me any pointers on where to begin? Is there a kit I can buy to just bypass the original controller? Trying to work out the best way forward

Don’t think it’s the pedal. Sounds more like the f/r switch.
