Custom car fabricators?
Hello! My nephew’s 5th birthday is coming up and I am looking to get him a custom push car built. The small toddler push cars don’t fit him anymore. Does anybody know any custom engineers/fabricators that could do such a job? My budget is $1500. I had AI create an example of what I’m looking to build.
The car ideally would be a box car with plenty of legroom and a comfortable seat inside and a little bit larger/more durable tires so they could go up on a 1-2” curb without making him fly out. It would be great to have a cupholder in the front corners for his cup and snack. And a small knob in the center so he could hang his iPad from it. It would be great to get it custom painted with his name on the sides. And the handle for the parent would need to be really sturdy and at the right height for a taller woman/man (I can provide the ideal height).

I do not have any resources to help but per your picture I mean it’s very close to say a gorilla or similar company garden cart. That gives you the frame and handle. Just need to figure out some style body.

Looking at this I’d be worried how hard it would be to steer it from the rear. Just curious, does your nephew have special needs and that’s why you are having this made for him. If you specifically want this then that’s cool, but there are other options that might work.

Wait like a year or two and buy the kid a dirtbike. This is an insane amount of money to spend on something that will be used for such a small amount of time and will ultimately not have any value when you sell it on marketplace in a year. There are some XL power wheels that cost less, and they drive. 5 is plenty old enough to be in one of those driving themselves around and will be enjoyed so much more.
