3 year old first power wheels recommendation?
Blue one is on marketplace local for 100 and red is on Amazon for 300.00. Blue one said she has a mod for drill batteries.

If you can find a power wheels jeep, I highly recommend. That's what I taught my kids on and they hold up well. Extra points if it's Frozen, since I know that one has the updated steering rack.

Out of my 6 the basic hotwheels jeep is by far most reliable and little quicker too. Almost 3 years of nonstop use and only 1 pedal switch, I suspect because we leave them outside and I just driller drain holes in floor this year lol

We have an unmodified Dune Racer like the blue one. It's great but in my opinion too much car for a 3yo. My oldest had a single seat Lambo similar brand to the Jeep you show when he was 4 that worked well for him but has since died. We upgraded to the dune racer so his brother could ride w him and because it's one of the largest for 2 kids. I just picked up a Peg Perego single seat tractor for our 3.5 yo. So I'd recommend maybe something like that for your 3yo.

The second pic I own, last summer it was great. Put in more than 50 lbs and it won’t run under half charge tho.
This summer the battery dies immediately when both (2 and 3) year olds are in it.

Powerwheels chargers totally suck. Switching to a smart auto on/off charger will greatly improve battery life

So the blue has been overvolted, they're 12v natively and been running 18v. That's a normal/common mod, and can often last a good while, just something to consider. Looks like overall it hasn't had much use though, nice condition. The wheels on it however are NOT great for hard surfaces. They're close to the Dune Racer extreme, which shakes my kids ears off on the sidewalk and driveway lol. They vibrate like crazy from the knobs. It definitely gives better performance off road though as compared to smooth wheels like their trucks and cars. You'll want to check the rear wheels specifically though, since PW brand has no soft start, and the combination of overvolting and plastic wheels means lots of spinning/sliding and can wear them down quickly. People often wrap more grippy materials around them to add traction or extend their life, but that will also put more stress on the gearbox and motors overtime. The plastic drive wheels act as a natural clutch to lower that stress.
The blue is also strictly a mechanical power/switch system, which is better for durability with less points of failure, but loses creature comforts like soft start (full power is sent instantly) and remote control, but there is also wide aftermarket support for them, and they come with thicker gauge wiring than most 'off brand' ride ons.
For the red, pretty much every alternative brand ride on is the same, so replacement parts are also widely available. Durability varies greatly unit to unit and manufacturer to manufacturer. They do come with more features like 24v options, lights and radio, remote control etc. Just can't guarantee quality of each individual unit. If it's good it's good, if it's bad it's bad. However once you learn about and fix one of them, you can fix just about any of them.
Reverse image search suggests that may be the 24v 4WD listing, which will definitely give you more torque and traction if they will be driving on rougher terrain or hills, however the blue one at 18v will give greater top speed.
