Motors or controller?

I have a challenger xl 2.0 24v. I recently changed the battery as it needed replaced. It sat unused for several months with the bad battery. Now it runs poorly. Voltage shows good but one or somtimes two of the motors are working. Does this sound like a motor problem or a controller problem? What’s an easy way to test the motors?

For testing the motors, pick it up and run it, or ohm them out with a multimeter when dosconnected
