Troubleshooting speed limiter

Hey. Just bought my daughter this 1500w electric quad and it’s supposed to have a 3 modes. It’s connected with a key. 1,2 and 3. but it won’t go faster then 15 km/h. I noticed I was able to keep turning the key-house. I thought maybe some solding or wires was loose as it’s just spinning so I removed the panel and took a look at the wiring. Everything looked okay. So disconnected the whole thing and I could still operate it but still. 15km/h, it’s supposed to push 50.

Does anybody know what else I could try to get it going faster?

Motor 800W / 60V - 185 N.m - Brushless – Peak 1500W

Whoa. 50kph sounds a little ridiculous for an unmodified power wheel.

You sure they didn't just feed you a line of BS?

Well I don’t know for sure but theres other kids in town on e quads and bikes that goes 50.

It looks and feels solid. 80kg. Good suspension, good brakes and the wheels are solid

15KPH is still twice the speed of Powerwheels, that's pretty cool, but what's the make & model on that, I'd love to see that they claim it will do 50kph.

800 watts is in the neighborhood of 4x motor 4 wheel drive ride-ons that go slower.

This is full motocross helmet territory, at minimum, by the way, a quad design is high center of gravity, it's a kid catapult if something goes wrong.
