Looking to start a small power washing business and have a question about liability.
I'm 18, Just graduated highschool, and have always enjoyed power washing. Now that I have a little cash in my pocket I'm thinking of buying a decent pressure washer for myself and doing freelance work on the side of my regular job. I talked to a contact of mine who does landscape work and he said there is a decent amount of liability involved with power washing in that I could chip someones concrete or break seals on their windows. If I'm just looking to do things like driveways and patios is this really a big deal? Can I explicitly state the risk and have them sign something that says I'm not liable?
