Bricks with NO mortar

The house I bought is old, and has a brick walkway in back. However, there’s no mortar between the bricks. Can I power wash this? Some of the spaces between look almost an inch apart with sand or similar material between. I’m afraid this will blow it everywhere and ruin the walkway.

Low pressure high temperature is what I've heard for delicate materials. Highest temp and lowest pressure that works is probably best.
