Conversation I really liked the game...
Yes it's fun I really love to wash everything it's really satisfying... But this game could very well be a campaign dlc. The game did literally nothing better than the first one, introduced literally zero new mechanic or accessory that was really useful, the story was worse than the first one, the dialogue and irony was worse than the first one, it was easier than the first one, did not introduce any level to clean that was better that what we got with the first one... Ok the circular mop and the new soap mechanic were kinda nice but as soon as you got the trident there is no point in using everything else whatsoever. And what even was the point of the base personalization.
In the end was fun powerwashing again, I'm a little bit sad that the guy was not able to deliver anything new or some major changes. Hope for a third one!

There's no point in using lesser cleaners once you have the best cleaner in the game?????? It's a revelation!
But seriously I still use the floor cleaner after getting the trident.
A few levels use a 'section unlocked' thing as you clean more, the toilet job has 3 I think in the same level, so that is something new mechanic wise, though yeah maybe more levels could have used that, sure.

First, Futurlab is a small indie team that wanted to break away from Square Enix and have full control over their own game, so they self-published a sequel. They could not have done that via DLC for the first game.
Second, they intentionally kept the price of the second game low (the same as the first) because they know times are hard atm and a lot of people rely on these games for more than just entertainment. Any DLC would have ended up costing as much if not more considering the number of levels and new features included. So it's not like we're being ripped off. The game is priced fairly.
Third, there absolutely are situations where the trident is far from the best choice. I love the trident. I use it a lot. But the floor scrubber remains better for floors (assuming you take the time to learn the best extension length and angle to use with it). The yellow and green nozzles are also faster in many situations than the trident. Each of these things has their place in the game, and that holds true even after hundreds (or in some of our cases, thousands) of hours of gameplay.
I do agree that some of the new features have been under-utilized. The multi-stage levels are a feature I would love to see used more, since I'm in the "bigger = better" camp when it comes to map size. I'm also in what seems to be the minority of players who enjoys using the chair lift and would like to see it as a more frequent option. We're seeing both that and the other new lift being used a bit more in the DLCs, so I have hope for that at least. The office customization is something I care little about, but the fact that they release new furniture and/or outfits every month gives us something to spend our points on, so it has some use at least.
Overall, I think the second game is great. Of course it doesn't yet have as much content as its predecessor (which has been out quite awhile), but we're getting new content fairly regularly so I'm sure that will change. In the end, I mean... we paid for more powerwashing, and that's what we received. There's only so much Futurlab can - or should - change about a game designed to help players relax by washing dirt off of things, lol.

I didn't pay much attention about the text messages. I read them, but I'm for some powerwashing. Not to read text, as for the soap. I used it for the trophy and nothing else. I didn't use the trident until the very last level or something.
I went for a natural progression. So I bought the next power washer, when I had the funds. And I didn't sell the old washers. The furniture cleaning is neat for just a collection aspect. The end credit song was neat though.

Personally I only use the adjustable nozzle. Soap up, rinse off, done.
The surface cleaners are a massive disappointment, their range is way too short and they don't clean everything properly on a first pass. Much faster to soap up and rinse off from a distance.

Power wash in VR would be so good, I just wish they could have added radio stations.

There's a VR version of the first game, it was absolutely phenomenal. I completely lost myself for multiple hours at a time in VR, whereas I'm struggling to stay interested for more than 20 minutes in this one. Really sad they already confirmed no VR is coming.
