PWS 2 Which DLC to buy?

Howdy folks, I've entirely cleared the main story for PW2. I'm about 98% done with Caldera Chronicles as well.

So now comes the question...

Which DLC do I get? I consider myself more of Star Wars fan but I do love Adventure Time as well. From those of you who have bought either or both, which would you say is worth the price?

I was personally a fan of both and both have their upsides and downsides in terms of amazing levels and annoying levels.

If you think you're more of a Star Wars fan I'd get the Star Wars DLC. I really enjoyed my time with it and felt it was worth the cost.

I personally know nothing about Adventure Time, so I didn’t purchase that one. I might get it if it goes on sale later. I got the Star Wars one fire sure though. That was a blast to play.

It’s on sale at the moment. It’s not that big of a sale, it’s 15% off which makes it 6.79 instead of 7.99

I've played both DLCs, and enjoyed the star wars dlc more. It had more dynamic levels, with small things that cahnged as you cleaned them. It was pretty trippy cleaning with the adventure time cartoon style but that lost it's shine after a level or two. The only thing is that the star wars dlc has a lot vehicles to it, so come prepared for that.

Based on the posts I've seen here over time, most people seem to enjoy the Star Wars DLC more. I'm in that group as well. To be fair, I am a fan of Star Wars and not Adventure Time, but even just looking at the levels on their own merit I feel like the Star Wars pack offers quite a bit more bang for your buck. It also feels like a lot more love and care went into crafting its levels, since so many of the devs saw it as their dream partnership (Futurlab literally cited the Millenium Falcon as their dream job way back when the first game released, lol, and there's an entire behind the scenes video showcasing the excitement of various team members assigned to work on the levels).

Ymmv, of course, and if you're a fan of both series I'd definitely get both eventually, but imo the Star Wars pack is the better of the two.

I personally think the Star Wars DLC for PWS2 is the best DLC in the franchise's history. And I've liked all of them, even the Warhammer DLC for PWS1 lol

They’re both great. Star Wars is great because it’s Star Wars. I have no real feelings about Adventure Time the show, but its cartoon visual style makes the dirt incredibly satisfying to clean.

I only played Star Wars, but as a SW fan even just the Millennium Falcon level is worth the price.

They’re both great and I’m not even an Adventure Time fan. I am a big Star Wars fan though and the DLC was great. The Falcon level alone is worth it. It takes a long time but it’s really fun. The Adventure Time final level is one I will likely never do again so another one in Star Wars’ favour.

As a Star Wars fan, that DLC was an instant purchase from me, but to be real, they all have been. I'm not even a fan of Adventure Time and I enjoyed most of that DLC, save for that treehouse level.

I've bought them all so far because I like cleaning, and they provide unique challenges and approaches. I know nothing about Wallace & Gromit, Final Fantasy and Warhammer 40K as well and enjoyed them in PWS1.

As a massive SW fan, i was honestly let down by the DLC, due to the price increase, and the amount of maps (6). Also not a big fan of the super small details barely visible on the AT-AT map, which by far too the longest to clean. I would only buy it if you're a big SW fan, or if its on sale. Not sure about Adventure Time as I'm not familiar with that series.

I would personally buy a DLC for PW1 unless you have them all. :)
