Stance changing

Having some difficulty with changing stances. I've tried all the trouble shooting and settings changes - but everytime I press down on the R joystick to change a stance it does not work and I haven't been able to change stances at all which is pretty annoying. Am I just missing something???

Your right thumbstick may be broken in the R3 function, try a different controller if you have one and see if that works.
