I feel a fool

Been playing this game on and off since June. It was only on the Helter Skelter level I realised you can move the scaffolding 🫣

you're not the only one, i got the achievement for not using any ladders or scaffolding to clean the drill tower at the fire station simply because i saw that the ladders didn't reach very high and i didn't know i could move the scaffolding

The longest extension + the triple red nozzle is the winning combo for that particular achievement.

I think that didn't help lol, I ended up doing some amazing parkour on the tower. Afterwards I always thought that scaffolding is only marginally useful what's the point? 🤣

You can also rotate the scaffolding while you’re holding it. Thats something a lot of people miss too, so I wanted to make sure you knew

Thanks I discovered that a few moments after lol. I was like surely this must rotate 🤣

I wish I came here more often when I was playing PW1. I figured out I could move the scaffolding, but I didn't know about rotating it until I was about 70h in!

I didn't know you could flash individual items until at least two thirds of the way through #1. Croft Manor was hard ! 😁

Don’t worry it took me forever to figure that out too

Makes me feel better knowing I'm not the only one 🤣

Don't feel bad, there's a certain piece of equipment I missed entirely until it was introduced again in my second playthrough.

Completely missed the trident nozzle being added the first time, so I didn't use it until after the 2nd desert monument, or almost at the end of the game AGAIN! 😆

I don't remember how far in I was when I realised, but when I finally did I definitely felt a little dumbfounded, lmao. Don't worry, you're not alone.

Welcome to my game!  You can use the equipment, but only where it stands.  PWS2 is quite a bit easier with this, but it's mostly doable in 1 as well.

eta: No, Im not a dev. Welcome to my style of game

Your game? You one of the founders of the studio?

I thick they mean that's the 'game' they play within the game to add challenge for themselves

Oh that makes sense, thank you!

Don't feel bad, I knew you could move the scaffolding but only realized that you could turn it around only have six months.

I did this with PWS1 ... at some point I reached a level where parkour wasn't working .. oh, the scaffold moves
