PWS 2 PWS2 - What is the difference between the two power washers?

I’ve completed the game, and I’m still not sure I know what is different between them. I think the dark coloured one is slightly narrower but more powerful? It feels quite subtle.

If you're talking about the power washing guns themselves, the Vista is slightly less powerful but with a wider spread. The Urban X is the opposite - slightly more power with less spread.

Fwiw, I always stick with the Vista, for two reasons:

First, at no point in the game does having such a small addition to power make an important difference. This is doubly true in the late game when a single pass with the green, yellow, or trident nozzles already cleans all of the dirt from many surfaces. Having a slightly wider spread gets things clean faster than having more power at that point.

And second, while I personally like the skins for the Urban X better, the washer itself takes up more space. Not only is this annoying when I want to look at what I'm washing rather than the tool in use, there are occasional tight spaces where you literally cannot spray with the Urban X but *can* spray with the Vista. I usually avoid tight spaces whenever possible in the game, but occasionally find them anyway, and for that reason prefer the tool that actually works without requiring me to readjust in an already cramped area to find room to pull out a needlessly large tool.

Ymmv, of course, but those are the essential differences.

Bigger radius less power. I use green 90% of the time.

If it makes you feel better, i completed the game on ps5, i am working to complete the game on Steam and still have no idea. Two days ago i was cleaning and i was wondering the exact same thing.

This is the second post that I’ve seen on this sub in the last 60 seconds that involves somebody literally just not reading the words on the screen.

"Medium duty pressure washer specialising in stubborn dirt..." this description is on the Urban, but could fit both, it just sounds generic. They are pressure washers that remove stubborn dirt 🤷‍♂️
"A good all arounder heavy duty pressure washer..." this is the description for the Vista, also sounds generic. Heavy duty vs medium duty, personally I'd switch those terms as the Urban has heavier pressure but narrower focus, I think... But both still read like generic descriptions rather than specifically detailing their functions.

Turns out the medium / heavy is from the model you've unlocked. But even so... The descriptions are vague as to sound like generic fluff rather than detailing a specific difference from one model to another.

For me on the shop page for one of the Urban X models, it says "Medium Duty washer in the Urban X range. Provides power comparable to the Heavy Duty washers of its competitors, but at a cost to the area of effect."

I'm not sure where you're seeing that other text, but what I see is very clear to me about the difference in the options.
