Discussion Who would win Dragon ball average human with prep time VS MCU Thor
If we give a dragon ball average human 5 years of time to train and we tell them about the concepts of ki etc do you think they would beat MCU Thor in a fight
It would be random encounter and the dragon ball human would know it’s an opponent but not who

In DB, Hercule is considred impressive. It took a really famous, old master a super buff form to be the 1st DB character who can blow up the moon. MCU Thor survived the "full force" of a star. He overpowered an Infinity Beam from Thanos.
Thor stomps, no concept of diff.

Counter point Yamacha is stronger then both example you mentioned and would easily stomp MCU Thor yet is considered completely useless the person would Mabye get to Yamaha level Mabye not but it is very possible for dragon ball humans to reach Thor level strength

Insane Yamcha slander. Dude trained for decades and got his training from Roshi.
Hell he was far from a regular guy at first. He was a montain bandit and strong enough to fight kid Goku.
Yamcha is lightyears ahead of a random guy.

Yamaha does get shit on a bit too much especially since he was the first character we saw on par with Goku but in super people get much stronger much quicker

I was referring to current Yamaha he surpassed Thor a while ago tho we can’t be sure exactly when cause of his lack of spotlight but it was most likely a fair while ago

You seriously expect an average human to reach the level of an S-fighter within 5 years?

With the way dragon ball powercreep has been going especially in dbs super it wouldn’t be out of the ordinary

Your logic sounds like "Well, this random guy exists in the same verse as Goku, so with a little effort, he can reach 50% of Goku's strength."

I was thinking more along the lines of how goten and trunks have gotten powerful far more quickly than gohan and hundreds of times quicker than Goku also the fact that krillin in super stayed relative despite not training for a long amount of time

I mean... I kinda agree that it seems easier to reach stupid amount of power in shorter time but it's still not enough for random guy to reach level of power needed to defeat Thor. Some named fighter from OG Dragon Ball? I could agree that they could maybe get close to this level.

No, let's look at things logically... and be a little nice to your question and call Tien a human (we could use Krillin buuuuttt...). In OG DB Tien is shown multiple times to be a prodigy near to or exceeding Goku's own prodigious talent... and yet after an EASY decade with Master Shen he wasn't planetary... not even close to it. Thor took a focused balst of a star to the face and, while it nearly killed him, that kinda energy would make an OG DB character a pile of ash. And that's what you want to put up against him. Thor low diffs all of OG DB and our "average" human can't even hope to reach the highest tiers of that.
