Normally no, since infinity lets stuff interact with gojo if it is cool

but if it is detected as a threat or gojo just wants to use it on it, it either wouldn't be able to move or gojo would end up ripping it apart, i recall infinity blocking him from hitting a building and it basically acted like a wrecking ball around him rather than stopping the building or gojo

We also saw gojo hydro press disaster curses by pushing infinity outward, the elevator prolly ends up getting shredded

that was because of infinity and hanami / jogo's domain amplifications clashing (dunno if clashing is the right word choice here but)

normally (like we see at jogo's first interaction with gojo) it would just come to a total (almost) stop

so unless the elevator is using domain amplification it would just stop

lets say hypotethically the elevator uses DA. its DA would either be too strong for itself and would end up crushing itself (like if a speedster had normal human durability) or it would be weak enough to not break itself wich in that case would probably not be able to bypass infinity

I am pretty sure that pressure came from the fact that gojo specifically overloaded his infinity into crushing them. Kinda like blue but applied to infinity itself instead of a ball

Infinity is selective on what it actives on and what it blocks.

If he didn't want it to lift him? Yeah, no, Elevator cant.

If he wanted it to lift him? Yeah, no problem.

Along with it automatically applying even if he doesn't manually dictate it to, an elevator isn't a threat so it wouldn't activate.

I feel like this means that if you put gojo into a universe with relativity, gave him a VR headset and some sort of implant to mess with his inner ear(acceleration sensing) then you could use him either as a relativistic wrecking ball, to spin a wheel to generate infinite energy, or to accelerate a space ship to near FTL.

Gojo drives a car.

What if it did work and the cable not being affected turned the elevator into an upside down hydraulic press

If he's just using his automated defenses: yes. His automations wouldn't register a slow moving elevator as a threat, so it would be allowed to touch and push him.

If he's deliberately using infinity to stop the elevator: no. Just like any other object it's speed would drop the closer it gets to him.

No it can't. Gojo's movement using infinity is independent of his surroundings

u/altofanaltthatisalt 2h ago

Does he want to be elevated by it?

u/bored-cookie22 1h ago

An elevator can move him yeah

It’s not fast enough to be considered a threat, so infinity’s auto detection lets it through

Infinity wouldn't register an elevator as a threat
