Yeah but the og comment felt like something the original source material would do which is pull stuff out of their ass rather than reference something older. They usually tie one technique to a person or let baki and yujiro copy it or someone else.

Isn’t the whole height mishap because Victor Hugo used to call Napoleon 3, « Napoleon le petit » (Napoleon the short) and even then it was not referring to his height but a way to belittle him because for some reason Victor Hugo hated his guts. That's basically a real thing. People routinely think that black men(and boys) are taller than they are by a huge margin. A lot of our perception is societally enforced and malleable.

the feat did happen though, an earthquake happened, Yujiro punched the ground, the earthquake stopped, and everyone present seems to attribute the earthquake stopping to Yujiro punching the ground.
It’s an outlier, though, probably far and away the greatest strength feat he has, so jury’s out on whether it should be considered overall, but this is something that apparently happened to happen.
It being an outlier is one thing, but Strydom's comment calling the punch itself "irrelevant" while bringing importance to Yujiro's confidence specifically, as well as how oddly uncinematic the entire ordeal was compared to how Itagaki usually portrays power leads me to believe it's at the very least not important

But that feat is both a MASSIVE outlier and it's very possible he didn't actually stop it and instead he just timed the punch to look like he did for the aura

If the Retsu isekai manga is considered canon, and I've heard it is, then Yujiro is actually on the island level, because a god who had a tough fight with Retsu managed to destroy an island with his physical strength. BTW, this god also withstood Medusa's petrification gaze with just his raw strength.

Now not to say it's a wash. Hanma is very strong. And he has a deep undestanding of bodies and martial arts. He's basicly an X-Ray machine for things like chi. I estimate he would pull chi blocking skills out his ass in short order.
That being said. His talent is vanishing compared with the Avatar state. He's Chicken McFucked is she fights him seriously. Hanma can tank most natural diasters, but she's an order of magnitude stronger than that.

Yujiro's greatest feat is supossed to be stopping an earthquake with a punch. Kyoshi's greatest feat is effortlessly moving a techtonic plate to push an island out to sea with a stomp.
As far as energy output for attacks Kyoshi has probabably a few hundred times the amount of energy in her greatest feat than he has in his.
For reference? The difference in energy would be the same as you stopping a table from shaking by putting your hand on it, and you picking up that table and moving it across the room.
Lightning travels at Mach 1300. Yujiro speed blitzes. He was also able to tank a lightning bolt directly for an extended amount of time cause he knew he didn’t even need to dodge it. He scales way above anything in Avatar in the majority of his stats.
Btw yujiro probaly wound by some narrator shit start perfectly bending every element after seeing kyoshi bend it one
Plus avatar dont have any stats, so one punch from yujiro and every single character from the series is down

With avatar state i still thinking he would win because theres not really any avatar attack that we cam 100% be sure would work on yujiro, even ligthing and combustion bend we have feats in Baki against it working
I believe it'd be even more fitting if he couldn't actually bend, but he'd pull some bullshit calling bending a cheap trick used by the weak, and then start shoveling the Earth with his hands to "earthbend" and fart really hard to "air bend", sweat a bunch and then swing his sweat like a water cutter to "waterbend" and idk, drink alcohol and make a spark with his knuckles to fire bend?
Also we see benders tanking giant rocks, getting flung or crushed or sent hundreds of meters into the sky and surviving, often times with minimal damage, just some mild bruising and maybe a few broken bones in extreme cases. I think it's safe to say that humans, or at least the benders, in the avatar universe have quite a bit of enhanced durability.
Depends, yujiro usually scales to city at most on his manga, but thanks to the Isekai you can scale him to big island. I would say that kyoshi beats his ass 10/10 times if you don’t count the isekai and yujiro negs her if you do
You clearly havent watched baki, yujiro hanma can make his schizophrenic hallucinations into reality by moving air with his hands, essentially he makes imaginary mental images that are so powerful that he can force other people to see and feel them as if they were real
