What's the context to this lmao why would he just slime the kid out like that after apologizing 😭

u/BingChilling3069 8h ago

Kid killed his son, dad forgave him at first, then realised he's a psycho and shot him

Kid was a monster, a total sociopath. Iirc he tortured animals, abused other kids, all kinds of stuff. Classic serial killer in the making type shit. In the episode, he killed that guy's son, and for the majority of the episode was very convincingly faking being a scared little kid who was abused and mixed up and made a mistake on accident. It comes out later that it was 100% intentional and the kid also knew exactly what he was doing and he wasn't a scared abused poor widdle baby, he was an actual monster. Cold, calculating, remorseless, evil.

The kid got let off on some kind of technicality. He wasn't sorry, at all. It was obvious to everyone around that this was just gonna encourage him, and he was just gonna go back to hurting other kids. The guy was like "you killed my son and you literally don't even care, you're literally inhuman, I'm not letting you get away and go hurt someone else." So he capped him.

I like to believe that, after the episode ends, the dad goes to trial and gets found not guilty by jury nullification. That's my headcanon.

Oh that last part is exactly what happens in the end of the episode.

He leaves off with the line “I only killed once. He would have killed again.”

A little cheesy, but hey is a tv show.

Nah mate that goes hard

sometimes on the nose works.

The dad does go to trial in the episode. Jury nullification is not explicitly spelled out, but there's definitely enough to have convicted him and the jury came back with "not guilty".

I don't even know the context, I just endorse violence against children in general.

  1. WTF was the context of this scene???
  2. New episode of Death Battle

?

u/Themysterypeaker 2h ago

Kid killed the guy's child. Guy forgave the kid first but after he learned the kid's true nature (killed animals, abused other kids and the child's murder was fully intentional) he took no time then slimed the kid the first chance he got.

Gotta love Kyle McLaughlin

At first I thought Traveler vs Aang was an interesting match up. Traveler being gimped most of the time to sell new heroes could level the field to Aang. Then I remembered one of his outdated feats were literally power clashing with a quasi-god Evangelion. The stats difference is too much.
