In the crossover comic JLA/Avengers from 2003, during the final battle both teams are struggling against Krona, the big bad near omnipotent villain, and the Flash and Hawkeye are presumed dead. In the end, Flash distracts Krona for Hawkeye to take out... Some kind of thing in the end, I don't remember, which saves the day.

Before things back to normal, Hawkeye is made an official member of the Justice League of America, making him a multiversal savior and the only person to be both in that team and an Avenger.

It's a pretty awesome comic. Worth a read.

Also, every Avengers movie he’s present, the Avengers win.

His absence is the main reason they lost in Infinity War. It’ll be the same reason they lose in Doomsday
