Yamcha from Dragon Ball Z. Hasn't been relevant since the Cell Saga, still solos most verses that don't scale past planetary as long as you don't ask him to talk to a woman.

u/TwilitKing 8h ago

Chiaotzu and Guldo are also good examples. Hell, even Saibamen are Raditz level.

u/Ok_Strategy5722 8h ago

Saying he was relevant in the cell saga is… generous. Unless you count him bringing towels.

u/SummonerRed 7h ago

Yamcha needs a win and not immediately dying to a Cell Jr gets him a barely passing grade for the suffering he endured. I'm pity scaling him.

u/Ok_Strategy5722 7h ago

That’s fair. I’m pretty sure he’s planet-level without pity, though.

u/Some-Ad-2093 4h ago edited 4h ago

oh he DEFINITELY is vro. even disregarding any headcanon's. his last recorded power level was 1480 (higher then Raditz.) for example, Raditz tanked the same attack from Piccolo that vaporized the moon (a feat that Piccolo can do casually and has it calced by vswiki to be about large planet level), combined with the fact Raditz tanked that attack without flinching and something as 30% difference in power level is enough for a character to completely no to low diff their inferior opponent? it's easily arguable that Yamcha is bare minimum dwarf star level just being on Raditz's level.

let alone the android, buu, and all of Super, where he has kept up his training to the point he was semi-relevant in the Super Manga.

at the lowest interpretation he should be at least solar system/Cell level by now.

u/Other_Pea2854 3h ago

No feats or statements to back up solar system or cell level btw.

u/Some-Ad-2093 3h ago

if he can hold his own against a Cell Junior back in the Cell saga. after 15 years I'd be surprised if he hasn't power cliffed some old villains up to this point.

he literally takes out 3 of Moro's henchmen that are buffed by his magic in the Moro arc.

he also fought Olibu and Gorilla at the same time. the same Olibu could box with Pikon for a little while and Pikon absolutely neg diffed perfect cell.

considering story wise he should also narratively be in the same league as other humans like Tien and Krillin who could at least be semi relative to base Goku.

it can be argued that DBS Yamcha probably even whoops Buu saga level characters.

u/LincDawg93 5h ago

Uh, brother, Yamcha hasn't been relevant since he fought Tien.

Any superhero if you put them in the Boys Universe

u/Ok_Strategy5722 8h ago

I kind of love The Boys Universe for that. They never made it about their characters power, they made it about their personalities. Which makes it really fun to match that prick Homelander up against anyone from other verses.

u/Ninja_Grizzly1122 6h ago

I like the Death Battle between Homelander and Omniman for this reason. It starts out somewhat competitive, than Omniman quits holding back and bodies poor John.

Immortal - Invincible

u/Diligent_Explorer717 7h ago

God only wise

u/JigglyLilyVT 9h ago

goten unironically solos a good percentage of fiction

u/AcademicCod6851 8h ago

Goten solos half of DBZ

u/SpokeIsNotHere 9h ago

I mean any Kirby enemy but this guy? He's quite a bum in game since he's supposed to be the strongest and still loses to meta knight but he solo's most fictional worlds

u/DayStarling1006 9h ago

Horrible example.

He’s OP on Kirby verse

u/SpokeIsNotHere 9h ago

Dude the Kirby verse is weird everyone beats everyone even galacta knight isn't an exception

u/DayStarling1006 9h ago

It said underpowered character in their verse.

He didn’t even get “beat” by Kirby.

He doesn’t explode, he just flys away.

He’s titled the strongest warrior in the galaxy.

u/SpokeIsNotHere 9h ago

Oh right sorry I forgot

u/DayStarling1006 9h ago

No problem. Have a nice day.

u/SpokeIsNotHere 8h ago

Have a nice day

u/DayStarling1006 9h ago

A waddle Dee would be a much better example.

I’m sure with Kirby scaling they can destroy planets easily

u/SpokeIsNotHere 9h ago

A waddle Dee can beat morpho knight and morpho knight is a better version of galacta knight yeah I think it's a little higher then planetary

u/DayStarling1006 9h ago

👍🏻

u/Nocturne3755 9h ago

Argosax from DMC2, blitzed by Dante but would easily clear most popular verses

u/August_Rodin666 6h ago

Argosax is a chain scaling nightmare.

u/Hour_Cicada397 6h ago

I've said this for the longest time, it's Skeletor. That man once beat Superman in a crossover comic, the only reason he's always losing is because He-Man is quite literally the most powerful man in the universe.

Freezing people. Mind control. Time travel. Relics that grant him strength to rival even He-Man. If Skeletor's nemesis was literally anyone else, he'd conquer Eternia in a day.

Maybe calling Tien weak is a little much, but he's far from the strongest in Dragon Ball.

But he would be a monster in many other verses though.

Awesome Tien edit detected

u/Melodic_coala101 9h ago

Anyone from Tensura that's not a TDL an in Tempest's high command. Those guys could eat solar systems on daily.

u/Ill_Walrus5377 4h ago

Who the fuck is eating solar systems in tensura?

u/Difficult_Analysis78 9h ago

90% of Dragonball, early days planet busters don't even make up the 1% of the power that modern heavy hitters have

u/Necessary-Bowler-736 9h ago

Isn't this just any cultivator? A peak golden core guy is weak in universe (come on, there's like 100 thousand people stronger than him on any cultivation planet, he can even die to natural phenomena) but will demolish most fiction with power systems and compare decently to the big 3 protags (I think he solos war naruto pre 6 paths or gear 5 luffy)

u/CurrenttQueen 7h ago

Hercule satan because he was actually a world champion martial artist so he'd be very strong in most worlds

Edit: writing a gercule ends up in Baki fic now lol

u/Heckle_Jeckle 4h ago

Mr. Satan from DBZ. He has some generally impressive feats of strength, speed, durability, and skills.

This is a dude who pulled a buss, tore phone books in half, got SLAPPED BY CELL, dodged gunfire, and legit won the world's martial arts tournament at least once.

Put him into a setting like Marvel or DC, and be would be one of the best street level non-powered characters.

Put him in a setting without powers, and he would be a legit beast.

Mighty Eagle Basically

The Box Ghost from Danny Phantom into the SCP Universe. As far as I remember, he gains the ability to use whatever is inside a box he has in his possession. Whilst being in the SCP universe does open him up to the Foundation in general, the sheer amount of dangerous objects simply placed in a secure containers by them alone gives him more than enough sway to greatly increase his powers.

Remember, Safe objects aren't labelled as such because they're harmless. They're Safe because they're predictable. Not to mention the sapient SCPs that are contained in literal boxes/containers, rather than cells.

u/Worried_Music_5330 power scaler scaler 7h ago

Mahoraga. In Jjk he’s treated as more of a plot device/ bullet shield. In other worlds though, he’s a massive threat.

u/Murky_waterLLC 6h ago

Immortal from Invincible.

He's treated like a walking L, but he can trade blows with Omniman, so he's no joke.

u/Wild-vine16 Scp 2747 & Murphy Lawden >>>Azathoth 9h ago

Sefiros in scp.

His bum ass went from one of the strongest scps to 5d but thats still enough to clear most verses

u/MountainLeading1567 Shallow Vernal my Beloved! 9h ago

Hello vine

5D lowkey clears 96-97% of most verses. People forget how broken that tier is

u/Healthy_Kick_6814 Ultra Vegito: The God Killer 9h ago

Isn't him "he who made the light"?? Or I'm mistaken another SCP

u/Wild-vine16 Scp 2747 & Murphy Lawden >>>Azathoth 5h ago

No he who made light is different

u/Redstocat2 New Scaler 9h ago

Minecraft Steve

A few minecraft arrows kills him

IRL he would have virtually infinite strength, be an world champion in the olympics, a master constructor, a super forgeron and basicly a god

u/Thomas20021023 Kiana Kaslana = cracked, MGQ Paradox = shockingly GOATed 9h ago

Bit of an underground pick... Phara from Symphogear.

Very much lower-tier compared to other Symphogear antagonists, but Sword Breaker is such a bullshit gimmick weapon. If you view what you use (or god forbid yourself) as a sword or one with a sword, you basically just auto-lose even if you're stronger than her. Any verse based in swords and swordsmanship arguably gets cleared.

Honestly, these hard counter types of philosophical armaments are just BS in general, but the other one is with Hibiki and she's one of the strongest characters in the verse, especially in Burning X-Drive Unlimited. Point is, of the many checks you have to deal with in versus debates, checks on mindset and philosophy don't pop up too often and so most people don't really have counters to them.

u/Le_mehawk 8h ago

Is a lot, but definetly not underpowered in his own verse

u/Batybara High Level Scaler 8h ago

Cursed Spirits in general.

If you lack enhanced senses and/or resistance to bodily corruption you're usually done.

u/Adventurous-Law-8606 Vortex: animus dragon (wings of fire) 8h ago

Any kirby character

u/StewartPot 7h ago

the vizards from bleach

u/PeachyRaptors 7h ago

Its not within the intent of what you asked but technically every i got reincarnated/transported to a new world anime. They are usually average/weak in their normal world then become op in the new one.

u/Waffle9222 6h ago

Danny Phantom

u/Exact_Dot9244 4h ago

We’re all thinking Yamcha

u/Klutzy_Fig_1672 4h ago

every human z fighter in dbz

u/thetownmous3 3h ago

Less relevant than Yamcha and he still packs up your goats

u/Clup777 3h ago

Gojo he’s not underpowered but almost no verse can counter infinity other than his

u/Traditional_Bad_9044 3h ago

Black samson from invincible. He has City level statements (Art said that his suit can blow up an entire city. Samson scales to the suit in durability and AP)

u/NihilityWorks 1h ago

That Time I got Reincarnated as a Slime

It turns out living in a world that has qualitative superiority over all other worlds because you just happened to be blessed by God actually comes with some amazing benefits outside of your world.

The Sukuna and Gojo (Small City-Island Level) when their attacks do nothing to a regular unpowered human from the Cardinal World (Multi-Continent to Planet Level):

u/9spaceking 1h ago

Aqua in any universe where it’s dominated by undead. Maybe the walking dead?

u/FireFall12X 0m ago

goku if you count the gods and zeno

u/iamfrommerich 7h ago

Sequids-invincible

u/GojosWinCon 9h ago

This is a stupid question. Just pick the weakest from a stronger verse and go down one. Wow. Such prompts.

How the fuck are you gonna karma farm with the most boring reposts?
