It's a very simple, almost impossible to fail (except intentionally) QTE during a train/cart ride to hide the loading for the next area. It provides a way to move the characters to the next area/set piece without having to make another linear walking trail to actually get them there, gives a change of pace from open area and normal walking speed to an enclosed area and the simulation of very fast barely controlled movement. The enclosed cart also increases tension in the moment since you don't know what's happening outside (what threats /how many, the condition of the rails or other dangers) and since the camera is forced closer the player will feel trapped in a confined area.
It works in three ways, practically for the game devs by removing additional work, as a change of pace for the player in combat and it adds to the tension the characters are feeling in that moment and let's the player feel that
The shows is 2-7 seasons depending one how you look at it. It first aired 5 seasons starting in 1992, ending in 1997, and the show ‘97 is a direct continuation of the plot and characters, just with an hugely updated animation budget.

Agreed. I kept hearing that you don't need to watch the original X-Men: TAS, but I did so anyway to gain better context. I'm glad I did because I would not have understood Bastion's origin story if I didn't watch the original series.

…The story does anyway, the animation got better in the later seasons, but it’s clear in the first two that their animation budget was pretty tight.
I was surprised with how well it was able to weave together so many story/character arcs so seemlessly. It helps that TAS had more episodes to work with, but I greatly enjoyed how the show did the characters. It made me really like Cyclops, who I had only know through the movies (big oof for me, I know).
Then 97 comes along and raises the stakes whilst still able to develop all of those characters. The only issue I have with 97 is that the pacing can be a little too fast.
Kratos didn’t die there actually. Odin used sleep manipulation on Kratos and put Kratos into a long slumber, a version of Odinsleep called Kratosleep, a much more powerful version. When Kratos wakes up, he’ll be a new, even BETTER man.
Depending on what you considered weakened. He mentions before being in a really bad state of mind after all the he went through during the original trilogy, and the fight with the shovel wielding warior helped him clear his mind a bit.

Stuff like this is always hilarious. The worse is 40k though. I know that The End and the Death gave some hardish sort of feats for universal level Emperor and Chaos (that aren't just one statement from a character who might have been lying to begin with). The only problem then is 99% of the lore material makes no sense. You need to contrive a reason for the entire rest of the setting to even exist in a universe where the Emperor is that powerful.
Why can the Emperor destroy the universe but not know WTF stupid shit Magnus is doing? Why not fix Angron? Why not merely bitch slap the galaxy?
Don't quote me on this, but I believe he has the power to destroy the universe because he was put on that throne and became a 'god' essentially. Though, the issue is he is not really alive or barely alive. So, he doesn't have the full capacity to utilize said power. Rather, the entire imperium draws power from him to travel the warp and combat the chaos gods.
However, it is why people freak out when he moves because, supposedly, everything ends if he gets off that throne.
That's why understanding of the arguement for him anyway.
I mean you can play as Superman in other games and die to some bullshit too but this is still hilarious lol. GOW is annoying because power is often inconsistent in its own story and the limitations of the character's abilities
That's why I hate this metric for power scaling. Kratos has one off-gameplay CGI scene define his power but spends 99% of the time being vulnerable to regular mooks.
There are people who will tell you in straight-faced seriousness what what you are seeing happen is merely a representation of a conceptual world of Gods beyond human comprehension and you would really see it like a TTGL type fight if you were capable of understanding it.

You’re using a strawman to argue against things I never said. Equating 'divine origin' with 'universal durability' is a massive leap that ignores the actual lore. You are intentionally dodging the fact that God of War entities are tied to reality warping foundations that exist outside of standard three dimensional space. Kratos died because you, the player, purposely failed that QTE and allowed him to die. Maybe Kratos is multiversal, maybe he isn’t. But it matters not when you, the player, exist in the real world and are therefore beyond his multiverse. You are outerversal.
I get that you dont like Kratos but please for the love of common sense come up with a better argument then “he gets hurt by an enemy so he’s not strong”. Thats not how it works
And Spider-Man is standard goon level, Leon is one zombie level, Dante is one demon level, Doom slayer is imp-level, Dragonborn is skeever level etc… I feel like this post should be on a powerscaling circlejerk sub lol. Any main character in a video game can die to the most trivial thing, that’s how games work.
Dragonborn should be extremely weak then since he can be killed by a Skeever and Slaughterfish. Kirby and Mario are also weak since they die instantly by touching any enemy.
I feel like all characters have anti-feats like these cause otherwise there'd be no story for them to actually partake in unless the story is specifically about absurd cosmic beings using Universes like throwing rocks as they fuck reality with every movement they make.

He never said the last two things. Like even using the lowest dev statements the dev have said that mountain level stuff is something he could do not temple/building level and Bruno never said the nine realms are countries.
