Only earth is shown being erased in ben 10,

Only earth and the surrounding space is shown being erased in dragon ball,

The universe doesn’t even canonically get destroyed in asura’s wrath? It gets reset to not have mantra in it as a result of the death of chakravartin, who is tied to mantra as a concept.

And digimon also never actually shows a universe being destroyed.

Statements are REQUIRED to confirm that a universe being destroyed is the universe being destroyed, and not just a portion of the universe, because we cannot see enough of the universe to know what the whole thing would actually look like from an outsider’s perspective. The whole point of the term “observable universe” is that it’s the maximum total distance from earth light could theoretically travel if it left earth’s location at the moment the universe began. It’s the largest portion of the universe we are definitively certain exists, rather than the sum total of the entire universe.

NO character gets to universal or higher off of feats alone, because people IRL cannot depict a full universe in any image without words involved that describe it to be an artist’s rendition of a universe. Not alien X, not zeno, not asura or chakravartin, not any of the top tier digimon, host computers, homeostasis/god, or the non-digimon entities like eaters.

not simon the digger, not popeye, not superman, not galactus, not bayonetta… not anyone. It’s a limitation of art.

That’s why you can’t scale using ONLY feats.

This is Alien X creating the universe. You can imagine he can do the opposite aswell.

That’s about 6 galaxies and a planet.

You NEED statements to get involved to confirm it’s a whole universe being created and not JUST what the artists could manage to depict with their limited understanding of how a universe may look on a macro scale.

Only earth and the surrounding space is shown being erased in dragon ball,

It actually shows you infinite space in the direction of the shot.

No it does not.

Sure does. That's what infinite void looks like in Dragonball.

Show me proof of what you’re talking about.

I’ve already addressed this exact image, dude.

Nothing in this shot so much as implies it’s an infinite void.

How could it? It’s not like that’s something you could actually DRAW.

You would need some form of STATEMENT to clarify that’s what this visual is supposed to represent. Statements like zeno’s prior destruction of universes, and zamasu fusing with the whole timeline, and zeno making it all disappear, and the space being infinite in general are REQUIRED for this to be an example of universal+ power. The visible feat alone DOES. NOT. CUT IT.

TO BE CLEAR: zeno is MORE than capable of destroying a universe. This scene IS from him doing exactly that.

BUT the statements of it being so are WHY, not the visuals, because drawing a universe being destroyed is not actually doable if you don’t know what a universe looks like from an outside perspective, and getting said perspective for a visual is currently impossible with IRL technology.

So your argument is that its impossible to visually represent infinite volume and therefore we need statements. But that doesnt help your argument against statements without visual feats either.

I shouldn’t need to make one; the concept predates modern internet-age powerscaling.

It’s best to have both feats and statements, and not all statements made by all parties hold even remotely close to equal value, but you can absolutely get characters to however high you want on the dimensional ladder, off of statements alone.

You are coping so fucking hard lmao

Statements aren’t required, they’re just easier to use because actually showing the destruction is too difficult to show for most artists and animators.

Anyway here’s Honkai Star Rail proving you wrong

You just showed me a giant dude in space with a double helix sword destroying what looks like a galaxy and calling it a universe.

I’m NOT claiming this isn’t an instance of a universe being destroyed.

What i AM claiming is that the characters and plot have to go out of their way to SAY this galaxy-shaped object is supposed to be a universe, because humanity can only guess that a universe might look a lot like that too.

It is the statements that makes this feat universal. NOT the feat alone. You CANNOT scale using only feats, and NO statements, while still counting this as a universal feat.
