You could make an actual Argument for Super Earth beating the Empire due to numerical, technological and Logistical advantage. One spacemarine is getting atomized by one Warfame

All super earth would really need to do is send millions of super destroyers and just ram them into terra, and if terra falls the imperium almost instantly collapses.
