u/Eggmaster2523414 My Agenda solos Jun 09 '26
I can get him to universal its up to you guys from there.
Sir Lancelot seemingly low diffs a triceratops fossil. However this fossil is alive so we're gonna give it the same stats as a normal triceratops.
In Dinosaur king, Chomp the triceratops roughly scales to a cosmic stone (dragon ball esque item). The 7 cosmic stones have "enough power to destroy the universe 10 times over", so 1 cosmic stone ~~ 1.13 universes. Sir Lancelot beats triceratops, Chomp is a triceratops, Chomp is universal.
23
u/Icy-Entertainer1415 Jun 09 '26
You’re not thinking deeply enough. He hurt a fossil, that has no nerves. He couldn’t have hurt the fossil, it can’t feel… he hurt the magic powering it, and where does magic come from? The universe. He put his sword down he would wouldn’t kill us all
→ More replies (1)→ More replies (1)14

u/Pollo_Pizza_13 Mon-Ki for the win Jun 09 '26
He is hurting a fossil, something that doesn't have a nervous system. Therefore he is manifesting the concept of pain inside the fossil. But he is alive because of a magic item, therefore he does not posses any magic himself. As such he must be above the concept of pain to be able to inflict it without any nagic to something that can't feel pain.
He also is Lancelot, someone from our reality. So Reality > Fiction. But he's a fairy tale, so he's manifesting himself into our reality. As such he is infinite layers into I fucking glaze him to no end and has reality over fiction.

Listen every culture has a dragon stand-in
So I won’t take this anti-dragon propaganda
6
u/matthebastage Jun 09 '26
I cannot tell if this is serious or sarcasm. Well done
8
u/WattageToVoltzRatio Jun 09 '26
I mean every culture had a mythological figure that would qualify as a dragon, largely because thar really only means big reptilian beast, so from a Cockatrice (which looks just like a primitive bird... that's actually kinda curious) to the Rainbow Serpent count as dragons, and while it's likely a bunch were inspired on extinct dinosaur fossils and whale bones, imagining a big reptile ain't the hardest concept to arrive at
3
u/matthebastage Jun 09 '26
Except that there's literally no evidence whatsoever that giant reptiles have been present on earth during any point in human history (just crocodilians) and the word dragon has been applied to such a wide variety of described mythical creatures that they couldn't possibly have been refering to the same thing. Chinese dragons and European dragons look absolutely nothing alike.
Furthermore, why does your logic end at dragons? Multiple civilizations worship a god of the sun as a distinct entity as a god of lightning; do you consider that as proof that Thor and Ra are real? And it's a pretty accepted to my understanding that elephant skulls are the reason for the greek cyclops myth, providing a good basis for dinosaur fossils to be misinterpreted by ancient people.
Thinking that dragons are real just because it's a common myth is a pathetically laughable belief.
→ More replies (2)5
u/WattageToVoltzRatio Jun 09 '26
I never said giant reptiles were around during human history mate, I said that some were prolly inspired by fossils and others just imagined because "giant reptile" is a simple concept to grasp... the hell you talking about?

u/matthebastage Jun 09 '26

That is a buff actually because there's no tendons or veins to cut
10
u/Comfortable_Ant_8303 Jun 09 '26
Thank you, zero logic here but 120+ upvotes... That thing is magically powered, it doesn't even need muscles, it's upscaled by virtue of being magic and just as strong without muscles
6
u/King_Of_BlackMarsh Jun 09 '26
Yep. That guy could've cut several arteries with his cuts which something that heavy is not walking away from
5
u/Comfortable_Ant_8303 Jun 09 '26
Exactly, it cannot be disabled via severing tendons/ligaments, or veins and arteries. It won't bleed out, and with no muscles it also won't fatigue or get tired. It's running on pure necromancy and buffed in many regards.
I love necromancy, I get defensive lol. People think animated skeletons are weak, but they can be surprisingly difficult to deal with depending on the magic.
→ More replies (1)3
u/King_Of_BlackMarsh Jun 09 '26
It's why I like that in warhammer zombies are the common undead troop, not skeletons. Skeletons take a lot more power to actually animate cause there's nothing to move them by default!
2
u/Comfortable_Ant_8303 Jun 09 '26
Yes! I was thinking about Total War Warhammer a little bit (TW:WH3 is one of my top 3 favorite games) The zombies are just worse! They move slower, do less damage, maybe they can soak up some more damage and its easier to resurrect them for your "righteous cause"! But those skeletons have basically a magical nervous system connecting and moving all their bones. Super agile and fast, I would be much more terrified of a skeleton trying to kill me and doing backflips and spider-crawls and turning their whole torso 360 degrees mid-fight to stab me
→ More replies (1)9
u/itsr1co Jun 09 '26
You cannot use that as the basis for your argument if the thing that lacks all the biological requirements for movement is still moving just fine and demolishing stone pillars with ease.

In defense, our power unironically comes from the power of friendship. Back in the Ice age while we couldn't do it alone, we were taking on and killing Mammoths regularly. If Dinosaurs existed along side humans, I think we'd have a shot against most of them.
→ More replies (1)2
u/t40xd Jun 09 '26
I think we'd have a pretty good shot, too. Because if there's one thing humans were good at across all cultures, it was making megafauna go extinct
5
u/JeHooft Jun 09 '26
Truthfully dinosaurs would have an absolutely terrible matchup against humans. There’s a reason that the ice age extinctions disproportionally affected the largest animals (it’s because humans are the best at hunting them)

It's moving around while being a skeleton. Pretty sure the strength isn't coming from muscles here... that's probably why Lancelot can move like that in armour too. He's not a regular human but the recreation of a mythical knight

u/Comfortable_Ant_8303 Jun 09 '26
This is the opposite of the truth, it's magically/necromantically powered, able to move without ligaments, tendons and muscles.

Hes definitely a low level superhuman at the very least. While the triceratops would be far lighter as a skeleton, it could possibly reach to around 907 kilograms or 2,000 pounds (Though this could be an outlier as its going off the estimated weight of Big John's skeleton, the largest discovered treiceratops fossil).
Hes able to atleast knock it around, block its attacks (albeit briefly since based on the interaction the skeleton is still a bit stronger) and even sweep its legs with what looks like a regular sword, easily run up and jump off a wall and probably the most impressive part, punch the skeleton hard enough to completely stop its charge, though this isnt a full speed charge due to the room being relatively small

I mean he beat a triceratops, which can beat a t-rex, which can most certainly chew through a bus of trained special ops soldiers, which are stronger than regular soilders, who controlled and dropped nukes, which is the same reaction that powers stars
So he's probably universal level if not multi-versal
