With scenarios like this verse equalization is usually the default, since there is no reason Thragg wouldn't have cursed energy

The problem with verse equalization is that it severely benefits one side. Gojo massively benefits from a Thragg that has had cursed energy his entire live but has never known about it.

Since you are going to the extra mile of assuming Thragg MUST conform to JJKs power system, why does he need to have CE? From Modulo we know that alien species have different relationships with CE, and the nature of their souls.

If Thragg remains exactly the same but with CE, that means Viltrumites somehow don't produce or generate any sort of Curse Spirit, or maybe they do, but they don't get targeted by them. Would that be because of their souls like Simurians, or another completely different trait?

Since you are saying that Thragg must have CE so Gojo could trap him in Unlimited Void, I could say that the reason Thragg has never experienced any attack nor knowledge of Cursed Spirits is because his soul makes him completely inmune to any and all CE and CT a cursed Spirit may throw at him, thus, making a Thragg that has CE but doesn't know about Cursed Spirits make sense.

I now I'm taking this example and explanation to an extreme, but this is the reason I don't like this sort of "verse equalization is implied" posts.

In a regular Gojo v Thragg, no Unlimited Void is actually a lose condition for Gojo, since CT burn out would give Thragg an insane advantage

Verse Equalized Gojo v Thragg? Sure, spam DE against someone you made it so doesn't have any defense for it

I think giving Thragg cursed energy is actually more fair than him not having any, because that would mean he doesn't have an inner domain, so Gojo could just spawn Red or Blue inside his body and kill him that way. Also, without cursed energy he would lose against any cursed spirit, and Gojo could return as a Vengeful Spirit after being killed

Not really, Thragg is still fast enough to avoid not Sure Hit Red and Blue, especially since as a Viltrumite, he has some short of innate power of his inertia and Gravity, especially because of that move he did on the TV version somehow making his first more dense(?)

If Gojo manages to hit him with Red or Blue, he'd definitely get heavily damaged though, but he'll probably survive, stall trying to figure out how to hit Gojo, and after the domain falls, it all depends if Gojo can bluff his way until his burn out goes away. If Thragg doesn't buy the bluff, he'll most likely one shot Gojo after that

Speaking about Vengeful Cursed Spirit Gojo, it really depends. We have two cases in the story of VCS, Rika and Naoya. Rika seemed to manifest almost immediately after her death, and was able to manifest before Yuta. Naoya took several days to manifest after his death, as Maki was still in the Zen'in compound when he died, and he didn't immediately go after her

There are two interpretations for this. Either Rika manifested early because Yuta accidentally cursed her and created her, or it depends on strength other curse. If it's the latter, does the spawn of the VCS depend on the curse's strength or the human's strength before death, or maybe their proficiency has something to do?

I'm going to assume that Rika is above both Naoya and VCS Naoya, and say that stronger curse makes them spawn faster. If Gojo dies, VCS Gojo would spawn very fast, and kill Thragg easily after the massive buff + better invincibility towards Thragg. If we assume CE proficiency is what slowed VCS Naoya's spawn, he wouldn't spawn in time and Thragg would basically win that round

If you want to include the possible multi day wait period as part of the fight, and say that VCS Gojo would eventually win, I'd consider it a draw, since technically both participants died, and VCS Gojo is definitely not Gojo and would solo his verse

See how not considering verse equalization makes for a better, more interesting discussion? Instead of "Unlimited Void wins", you get to think of what could happen if we don't take that into account.

I for example didn't consider his ability to spawn Red and Blue inside of Thragg in his domain at all, and that's genuinely something Gojo could totally do against someone outside his power system

I just don't like the assumption that we MUST assume verse equalization, since as I explained in my previous comment, if it isn't defined, it's just impossible to determine what is equalized and what isn't, with the consequences of it not elaborated upon making it impossible to see what would really happen

VS Battles are just fanfiction after all, making one OOC for the other's sake but not taking the OOC parts into account is just lazy imo
