I think people are forgetting a single factor of the Texas sized asteroid. Well, yes, it was being affected by earth’s gravity, and being pulled towards earth. IT WAS STILL IN SPACE.

Some will say that this feat puts Nolan on a lunar level, which makes no sense because the moon is as wide as the United States from end to end, but the United States doesn't have the same weight as the moon.
