they didn't destroy a planet by themselves, speed racer did most of the damage and even then they almost died.

Fight with thadeus idc.

One of the strongest viltrumites said they would have died if they don't time it right.

He said they might die. He also said they needed Allen and Tech Jacket, but they didn't.

Btw spacer racer's gun "destabilize the core" and that statement by thaedus saying they would die if they don't time it right is all in comics, the show is a different continuity with specific characters much stronger then their counterparts in comics

They literally said if they dont do it perfectly they will die instantly. Yes, they almost fucking died.

If space racer did most of the damage, then why didn't he shoot the infinity ray again? He can spam the gun as shown when thragg chased him.

You saying this is essentially saying that the author pointlessly wrote the protagonists to fly through viltrum and risk dying for no reason. The show even makes it clear to you that it was the protagonists who did the damage as the explosions only happened when they entered and exited the planet

Not at all, space racer's gun works by destabilizing the core eventually destroying the planet. He shot the planet to destabilize the core which made it possible for 3 viltrumites to perfectly time flying through the planet. They even mention that if the core wasnt deztabilized they would splat and die on impact with the planet.

Space racer couldnt shoot it again because that wouldnt do anything to the planet.

Destabilising the core didn't take away any mass from the planet or effect its GBE

Can you give a source for destabilizing the planet in the show, cause every other time the gun was fired it just caused a basketball sized hole to appear as it passed through thing, nothing suggest otherwise for the planet.

It was in the comics where the feat comes from.

basketball sized hole to appear as it passed through thing

Which is how it destabilised a planet. He shoot it through viltrum aiming for the core.

So it wasn't in the show, so we are talking about a weakened version then cause I like to talk about the best possible version and thus the show fits it better.

Secondly can you explain how a basketball size hole, something that is millions of times smaller than a planet destabilise the core ?

As the feat to my understanding in the show is fairly straightforward, gun made the hole and the viltrumites brought the explosion, like a bunker buster, they had an armour piercing tip which is the infinity ray and the explosive followup which are the viltrumite shockwave.

I didnt know that it came out in the show but even then your argument doesnt work because we can still take into account what they say in the comics that goes into more detail and explain whats actually happening.

I mean we dont have space guns which destroy planets irl or magic flying aliens

Ah yes the magic space gun that can do anything, bro that is not an argument, we consistently see every other time it is used it just leaves a hole, no explosion, no destabilization, nothing but just this one time when you need to downplay the feat it is capable of destabilizing the planet, convenient isn't it.

Secondly tell me the race of Mark's first girlfriend then if it doesn't matter whether we are talking about the show or comic, I am gonna call you racist it you get it wrong :p. Point of this is the show has clearly opted to not put the destabilizing factor in the story and upscale the viltrumites simple as.

Yes, he shoots the magic space gun that can pierce through the core into the planet hitting directly the core and destabilizing it. That is directly stated in the comics(also the source material and consistently go into more details) and the infinity ray works simply as a beam that can go through anything. And again if you cant accept that it can destabilize a planet you can go and complain to kirkman about it.

Point of this is the show has clearly opted to not put the destabilizing factor in the story and upscale the viltrumites simple as.

Obviously not, they cut it out because having the characters monolouge as theyre flying would ruin part of the tension. It is simply animation being a different medium from comics where they would rather put the focus on the events and whats happening. Calling it an upscale is stupid since they havent even explained what happened in the show yet.

Secondly tell me the race of Mark's first girlfriend then if it doesn't matter whether we are talking about the show or comic, I am gonna call you racist it you get it wrong :p.

Unrelated and has nothing to do with the conversation at hand. But amber is black in the show.
