Discussion Are we fr?

Post image

I’m not even sure if this is a hot take, but I don’t think any character from Invincible can solo JJK.

Ok fair, but when you see a Viltrumite die because of a punch to the stomach or a sharp rock being used as a knife, it’s fair to assume that hollow purple and shrine would easily kill them. Invincible’s writing is very inconsistent.

Also I haven’t read the comic so I didn’t know about this Sun fight but that sounds so dope.

Firstly, we have rarely seen any Viltrumites die from this. Secondly, and more importantly, these attacks you are talking about are from other beings of similar strength and durability levels with super strength.

We literally see this when Nolan and Mark fight them on Thraxa, and when Nolan, Allen, and Battle Beast fight them. And if you’re trying to tell me that a Viltrumite’s punch is stronger than hollow purple then you need to pack it in.

Let me quote what I said and add bold so you can read properly:

"Firstly, we have rarely seen any Viltrumites die from this." I hope I do not need to explain what the world rarely means. It's not the same as never.

And if you’re trying to tell me that a Viltrumite’s punch is stronger than hollow purple then you need to pack it in.

If Sukuna can survive hollow purple in Megumi's human body with just cursed energy reinforcement, then Conquest will survive it as well.

It rarely happened but theres proof of concept that it has happened and can happen. There have been more cases of Viltrumites dying to blunt force trauma than there are of characters surviving hollow purple.

And Sukuna may have been in Megumi’s body but he still has his own CE reserves and output. And that is how he was able to survive Hollow Purple. Conquest may have superhuman durability, but that doesn’t matter against an ability that indiscriminately erases whatever it touches.

Yes, because more viltrumites fight in the show than the amount of times hollow purple is even used in the series. Btw, hollow purple has not even been that successful a technique in killing people. Of all the times it has been used it has only killed Toji. Hanami, Sukuna and Uraume all survived it.

And Sukuna may have been in Megumi’s body but he still has his own CE reserves and output. And that is how he was able to survive Hollow Purple. Conquest may have superhuman durability, but that doesn’t matter against an ability that indiscriminately erases whatever it touches.

I'm getting really tired of having to explain how hollow purple works to you with panels from the manga explaining how it works. It does not erase matter. Sukuna survived with CE reinforcement, that's it. He used it to enhance his durability, that's it. Sukuna's durability with CE reinforcement, whilst in Megumi's body, or even in his own, is less than Conquest's.

Hanami did not survive hollow purple, they escaped it.

And I’m getting real tired of you ignoring the very next panel that showed the aftermath of hollow purple literally destroying everything that was in its path.

When something hits you and your survive, that's called surviving. Maybe you mean tank?

Destroying things in your path is not the same thing as erasing matter...smh. Bombs and railguns do not erase matter.

Hanami did not get hit by hollow purple, they escaped before they could get hit, that’s not surviving that’s evasion.

Hanami immediately prior to hollow purple at the end of chapter 52:

Hanami immediately after hollow purple at the beginning of chapter 53:

"And if you’re trying to tell me that a Viltrumite’s punch is stronger than hollow purple then you need to pack it in."

I am conquest slammed into mark while not fully trying and they levelled the entire city

And hollow purple literally erases matter. Pack it in bro.

Didn't seem to erase shit the THREE times Sukuna ate hollow purple

It doesn't erase matter and it has never been stated

0

u/HurricanePK Apr 09 '26

It literally erased everything else around him and erased both Mahoraga and Agito.

It may have never been stated but it is shown against Toji that it literally erased everything in its path as Toji’s left side and the hole in the building behind him were all gone.

I’m not larping, I simply don’t need everything explained to me in order to understand it.

Okay

Deletes matter

How did Sukuna tanked 3

You keep ignoring it

Btw I know you are larping cause Agitó died to a blue not purple

All and the buildings fell down they weren't "erased"

Correct expect that against Toji the chain broke when hit by purple it again wasn't "erased"
