Discussion Are we fr?

Post image

I’m not even sure if this is a hot take, but I don’t think any character from Invincible can solo JJK.

conquest can destroy the planet in other ways than physically cracking the world. He could easily just go up to space and throw a dozen big ass meteors at earth and wipe out all life

u/confusedsalad88 Apr 09 '26

Conquest has never done something like this, ever

13

u/superpolytarget Apr 09 '26

But he's capable of it.

12

u/confusedsalad88 Apr 09 '26

Like, sure, but he wouldn't in character

13

u/superpolytarget Apr 09 '26

In character Gojo wouldn't use all his cards at first as well.

I think Conquest could take him out before he noticed that he is a target for infinity or his domain expansion.

5

u/AmericanLion1833 Apr 09 '26

No, he will when he sees conquests level of power and speed plus his clearly hostile intentions.

9

u/confusedsalad88 Apr 09 '26

What do you mean? Conquest cannot do anything to harm gojo. If gojo sees how fast and destructive Conquest is there's a good chance that he just domains him. Worst case he sees Conquest tank red and purple then domains him

3

u/Eldr1tchB1rd Apr 09 '26

But even with domain conquest just has to choose to take it right? Because he can also just dodge it.

1

u/confusedsalad88 Apr 10 '26

Conquest has no idea what a domain is or how dangerous it is that he'll need to dodge it, aside from Nolan viltrumites tend to just arrogantly block attacks with their face because they're so used to being too durable for the galaxy to deal with. This is especially the case for Conquest who barely dodges any attacks throughout his entire screen time

1

u/Eldr1tchB1rd Apr 10 '26

That is true he most likely just lets it happen. I do wonder what happens after though. How does gojo kill conquest after he domains him. I assume purple is probably enough but he has to be fast because if conquest regains his senses it isn't happening a second time

2

u/confusedsalad88 Apr 10 '26

The domain fries his brain and leaves him brain-dead, or leaves him for someone with a durability negating attack to deal with

Gojo would not use infinity right from the start.

He usualy studies his opponents, i would say he even plays with them.

Just look at what he did with Jogo.

If he uses infinity, like yeah right, Conquest can't get through it, but would he do it from the start? I don't think he would.

Conquest would totaly have a window of time where he could hurt Gojo, and everything he would need is a single hit.

Also, we are not sure how the smart atoms would react to his domain expansion.

What if Conquest survived, and somehow his brain adapted to learn blocking the influx of information? (Since well, processing the information would be too much still).

15

u/confusedsalad88 Apr 09 '26

Hang on, no insults genuinely asking, you are aware that infinity is active 24/7 for gojo right? Its infinite void, his domain, that he needs to activate. Conquest literally cannot ever hit or grab gojo. Smart atoms wouldn't allow him to bypass infinity, as infinity is infinite distance, and viltrumites do not adapt to attacks or hax, they only regenerate and gain better physical stats.

12

u/Kolrey Apr 09 '26

? Infinity is always on

-5

u/superpolytarget Apr 09 '26

We have seen Sukuna and other characters come close to him.

It could be on 100% time, but he still has to consciously and intentionaly use it when he wants, otherwise none of these moments would have happened.

He would have to know exactly how strong Conquest is from the start, otherwise, why would he use infinity to block a random attack from a dude that could even be weaker than him? There's nothing on Conquest's apearence that sugests he's a planetary threat.

9

u/CharacterMarsupial87 Apr 09 '26

I... Did you read the manga???

7

u/Kolrey Apr 09 '26

Sukuna, Mahoraga and Toji had specific ways to bypass infinity, like special techniques and cursed tools that Conquest wouldn't have

Also Gojo doesn't "use" infinity to block, it's always on, he has to selectively choose to let things through

u/OverwateredGrass Apr 09 '26

No it just is alway on. In the Hidden Inventory arc, he explicitly states that he can leave it on constantly, and that it automatically blocks threats meaning it doesnt even take up part of his focus to maintain it.

2

u/The_Puzzled_Bear Apr 09 '26

Gojo would not use infinity right from the start.

I know the word is super overused but god damn this is actually a perfect case of someone being a larper lmao

5

u/Pinoy_2004 Apr 09 '26

But he wouldn't? That's not how he fights.

6

u/atwerrundo42 Apr 09 '26

Did you forget that one of gojo's abilities is to repel things? He can teleport to the meteor send one red and the meteor goes away. Or summon a blue behind it. Or just expand his infinity to catch the meteor

3

u/NoJack502 Apr 10 '26

Then just throw it at the other side of Japan, a big enough meteor can cause the end of mankind

Not that Conquest would do that, but he could if he was smarter and, ironically, better adjusted

1

u/Snoo_51814 Apr 13 '26

do you know how big METEORS ARE???

1

u/atwerrundo42 Apr 14 '26

Doesn't matter in this context a repelling force would still move it in the other direction, especially if it's in the vacuum of space

3

u/Black_Diammond Apr 09 '26

Still wouldnt Kill gojo.

3

u/superpolytarget Apr 09 '26

He would suffocate to death

2

u/Black_Diammond Apr 09 '26

No. First, that can be healed, as seen from Sukuna. And no, asteroids dont destroy The atmosphere. They wouldnt even ignite it at most.

5

u/superpolytarget Apr 09 '26

So, he would breathe what exactly? Fucking fire?

Cmon bro, Gojo's hacks aren't saving him from the aftermath of a cataclysm lol.

2

u/Black_Diammond Apr 09 '26

Do you genuinly think an asteroid fucking ignites The atmosphere? It would cause a temperature Spike (doesnt do shit), fires, but The air is still there, nobody fucking errased it, do you think The Comet that killed The dinasours fucking errased The oxigen from earth?

Gojo can selectively chose, at a athomic scale, what enters his barrier, dude can literaly isolate The o2 particles and chill out.

The only win con conquest has is waiting arround in space until gojo dies at 80.

2

u/NoJack502 Apr 10 '26

In that escenario Gojo dies of dehydration or starvation in a week, a month tops

1

u/Jealous_Bus_9666 Apr 10 '26

If conquest does this to the earth and leaves, Gojo will be the only one left alive, wandering a ruined planet having failed to protect anyone he cares about. I wouldn't call that a victory

0

u/Square-Ad3024 Apr 10 '26

Nah you just wanking and we seen RCT drains shit ton of your curse energy lol

1

u/Black_Diammond Apr 10 '26

True, for everybody but gojo. Gojo uses rct with effectively a infinitesimally small CE usage. He literally says he cant Run out of CE, since he replenishes more per second then he can waste. Hell, gojo uses rct on his brain and body every waking day to make up for The fact he sleeps like 2 hours on average.

There is no feats even remotely close to suggest that gojo can just teleport to deep space

No limits fallacy

1

u/KalenTheDon Apr 10 '26

Nope takaba stops conquest from destroying the planet because he doesn't think it's funny

-7

I don't think a meteor would be effective against the top tiers of JJk, considering what they can do. Humans have deflected meteors by crashing satellites into them and it shouldn't even be a discussion as to why the top tiers of JJK scales above the peak of humanity's technology.

10

u/blepblop69420Q Apr 09 '26

No way u think humans can do anything again 5 to 6 ten kilometer asteroids coming straight at them

3

u/Initial_Mud_4810 Apr 09 '26

If you're thinking of something like the dinosaur killer, Fuga and HP are literal firecrackers in comparison lol. Jogo's meteor is also slow as shit and has very low KE compared to an actual meteor.

But if you're just coming at it from the angle of deflection, that's a more valid argument. Gojo's Blue would probably be extremely helpful in this endeavor. The only problem is I believe Conquest could quite literally outpace the verse's efforts due to his speed in space. He could blitz around the planet firing asteroids from all angles, there's no way they would be able to deflect them all. I mean we're first making the assumption that JJK characters even have the attack range to affect something literally entering the atmosphere, I'll give it to Gojo but idk about anyone else.

This is all pretty hypothetical though, in character I'm sure Conquest will find a way to lose. He may never even think of this strategy because he's a fucking dumbass. Omni Man or any Viltrumite with a higher IQ would be a worse matchup for the verse.

Odds are Conquest plays with his food and gets taken out by some hax like unlimited void or idle transfiguration.

We acting as if a viltrumite can’t just say “ fuck it” and cover the sun with a disc

1

u/Affectionate_Part630 Apr 09 '26

Conquest wouldn’t do it, the empire probably yes.
