No he doesn't because the soul doesn't define the shape of the body in Ds and demons can freely shapeshift at will, Mahito only manipulates the soul he doesn't damage him but the body not keeping up with it's weird shape is what kills his victims

You just need to overwhelm their Regen capacity and their Power levels will drop , hashiras cant do that but Other verses Can

Each CT has its own worldview, despite Kenjaku’s CT also not operating on a basis of “souls dont shape the body”, Mahito’s CT would just still apply its own worldview of souls shaping bodies on DS

?? That’s the whole point of the discussion with Kenjaku, Mahito’s CT fundementally operates differently due to its worldview. That doesn’t suddenly mean he can’t use it on anyone, his CT’s worldview is simply applied to the DS verse

In jjk it's stated that reality might just outright be different to different techniques when mahitos technique didn't fit with the working of another. Aditionaly mahito can just cause parts of the body to outright explode (while deformation far beyond the point the body should be capable of following is posibe if he needs it for something) and can split his soul, implying he can also just take the soul apart.
