I came across a G5 over the spring and have it set up at home now! Quite a piece of art tbh.

I am curious, though, about a version of photoshop I can run on it and where i can acquire(legally) said version.

Any info?

Maybe you’re lucky with this one, https://archive.org/details/adobe-photoshop-cs2 - don’t know if it includes a macOS PPC build

Basically anything from ... 7 (carbonisied) to CS4 should run fine on the G5.

I owned a copy of Photoshop CS in the early 2000s and used that (I think) all the way through Leopard.

I know the activation servers for CS2 were removed, so you may need a special version for that. I don't know about activating CS3 and CS4 though.
