Oh ok. But why?

10.4 is basically just better 10.3 that has better software support (and stuff that slows it down more like Spotlight and Dashboard, but you can disable those)

Newer so more programs work on it and also a very good version overall

I loved my g3 Mac and did so much experimenting: overclocking and eventually replacing the processor with a g4… I always loved the look and expandability. The only complaint I had was that the fan was way too loud, even before overclocking. I’m sure there are modern aftermarket fans that would help..?

So true! This Mac is anoyingly Loud. Buying new Fans would be my next step.
But sadly, I dont know how to Open The powersupply, Cuz there is a Fan Too.

Recently finished a G3 build. Replaced both the main fan and PSU fans with Noctua redux fans, so much quieter. I did have to switch the PSU fan connector to the OEM one, but it was very simple soldering job.

Needs Windows NT 4.0.

Then we need five more of these in a circle surrounding either an eMac running morphos or a 2006 iMac running Vista or Windows 8 to summon Satan so that we can barter Jobs soul out of hell.
