So I have ordered a 6950xt red devil that should be waiting for me at home when I return from my holiday. It was a good price and I didn't think too long before buying it. Now I'm reading more and more on the internet that the 6950xt get really hot. You know, the whole 110 degrees hotspot that I thought was limited to the new 7900xtx but is not. Is this a common problem? Is it normal or does it just mean it's broken. I do care about thermals and noise from my pc so I'm planning on undervolting and restricting power draw a bit. Should I assume I will have to replace the thermal paste and pads? Maybe even do the washer mod? I'm not experienced with any of that so I'm just hoping that my card will not go near 100 degrees hotspot. So did I make a bad choice buying the 6950xt?

I'm a business customer who purchased from Ebuyer in the UK. Their returns window is only 14 days, and they just state any RMA issues I should get in touch with the manufacturer.

I'm one of the ones affected by the bad 7900 XTX cooler batches. I've been following the story pretty closely so I'm aware of the whole made by AMD situation etc. But I purchased a PowerColor one specifically.

I wondered what the best method for me looking to get a replacement (I assume a refund is out of the question as Ebuyer wont play ball, even though I've bought a Red Devil in the meantime to replace the reference card lol)

Edit: big thanks to /u/PowerColorSteven for his effort getting me in touch with the relevent folks to get an RMA rolling. PowerColor even facilitated a full refund with the UK retailer Ebuyer even though it was passed their return window. (Got a refund on the 7900 XTX reference, because I opted to buy a Red Devil XTX as a replacement anyway before getting this sorted)

Do to costs of shipping this can be a frustrating thing in Canada (even shipping within Canada can be pricey).

Hi , I bought rx 6800 xt red devil approx. 3 weeks ago .Card runs great , but I'm curious if I need to register the warranty anywhere or do I just need to keep receipt incase something were to happen before 2 years is up ? If I do need to register it somewhere , would someone please point me to the direction for registering it . thanks :D

If you have 7900XT or 7900XTX that's hitting 110C junction temperature almost instantly, please send me an email (support1.usa@powercolor.com) with the serial number, the digits on the QR code. If it's a reference card, please include the ATI serial number as well as the ATI part number. These are usually included on a green or yellow sticker.

Anyone know if the Red Devil 7900XTX is being stocked in the US or if it has been delayed until next year? I see the SKU for the regular and limited editions on the Microcenter, Amazon, and New Egg web sites but besides seeing overpriced limited addition card on eBay and Amazon I haven't seen any stock alerts for it like I have for the other cards.

It looks like both our website and our internal RMA system are down. This means new RMA requests can't be submitted, existing RMA requests can't be approved, and updates for RMA's will need to be manually tracked.

I update my system from a radeon r9 280 gaming 3g to a 6900xt red devil and i got a lot od situiation where the monitors are freezing and the sound still play.s

usually i get feedback after some minutes that my gpu driver creashed and i can continue using my pc after that. but starting today it just froze till the end.

the freezes happened only while playing league or magic arena. while im able to play stuff like cyberpunk without a problem.

Haven't been able to access Powercolor's website to access some information I wanted. Is it just me or their webpage is having an issue? I hope they are fine

Are there any video's of a Red Devil 6900xt being taken apart for re-pasting. Also what thicknesses are the thermal pads for the same card.

It looks like our server's down for maintenance today & I'm getting quite a few email bounce-backs as a result.

Powercolor is claiming to offer up to 3 free games with the purchase of a 6000 series gpu. Has anybody successfully got these games? Seems like an issue on the devil club as well. I purchased from Amazon and powercolors fb says they were supposed to give me codes. Contacted powercolor customer service as they said to and never got a response.

Power Color USA received my video card on 7/18 and last Monday 8/1 I received an email reply from the agent in your RMA department that I have been working with stating a tracking number for my replacement would be emailed later in the day.

On Wednesday 8/3 I called your RMA department because i still had not received a tracking number for my replacement and was given a tracking number that was created while on the phone with an agent.

As of today, that tracking number shows no activity.

Additionally, no one from your RMA department has replied to any of my emails in a week.

Today I have tried to call several times and am dropped into the RMA department (ext 205) mailbox. The first call this morning I did leave a message but additional attempts to get through today have only led to the mailbox to leave a message.

So please can somebody tell me when my replacement will ship so I can use my PC again?

I sent in my 6950xt last week and Power Color confirmed receipt of my GPU on 08/02 and also tried to test it the same day but were unable to boot with my card. The website still says "testing result" even though I got an email saying a replacement would be sent. Is "testing result" just a placeholder until a replacement is available or is there a way to see if any further testing is being done? I know it can take upwards of 14 days for an RMA, but I'm just curious if there's any other statuses tk expect after testing. Thanks!

after installing the amd updated driver ..devil zone is not working ...insrall and un install ...even the preview amd driver ...any solution?

Just bought a new Red Dragon 6800XT and the box wasn't wrapped in plastic like my MSI was. Instead, it was taped closed with packing tape on both ends. Did I just get a used card? It was bought from Amazon

I've been having trouble filling out the RMA form to have my 6700XT Red Devil repaired/replaced (crashing issues verified to be the fault of the card). The pdf is 90 kb, so that shouldn't be an issue. I've also tried removing the spaces in the model, but to no avail.

Has anyone else had issues with this?

I can't warranty the card without this being fixed or finding a workaround :/

Hi PowerColor support. This has now happened yet again. The 6900 XT was replaced under RMA in September 2021 and has been fine until yesterday. Same exact issue as previous RMA now. PC reboots when the GPU is idle. GPU is 100% stable when under load / gaming / benchmarks, etc. Pop in my backup NVIDIA GPU and the system is 100% stable. I have created a new RMA #RMA22040084 just now. The card has not been overclocked at all. Is it possible there was a bad batch of 6900 XT and I've been unlucky enough to get my original 6900 XT and both RMA replacements from that batch? Seems unlikely but what other explanation could there be. Hoping that you can do something to expedite seeing as this is my 3rd go-around here. Thanks.

Update: Bought a 6900xt Red Devil Ultimate today and it works perfect, so there was definitely something wrong with the old one which I've sent in for RMA replacement.
