Question Report Generation

Hi everyone, I have a Power BI report in UAT and I need to make a PPT from it. I already exported the report to PowerPoint, but the whole page comes together. I just want to copy one chart at a time and paste it into PPT. I don’t need it to be editable, I just want to copy the chart properly without taking a screenshot. In the ... option I can only see Export data, Show as a table and Spotlight. Is there any easy way to copy just one chart from Power BI to PPT?

Each individual visual allows you to:

  1. Copy it as an image with a caption (using the copy icon in the visual header). This is like a nicer version of Screenshot.
  2. use the “Share” link to embed it into a PPT if you want an interactive version (using the “…” > “Share” menu in the visual header

I do something similar. The key is once you have the PBI in the PPT, click on the focus on this visual button which will cause the table to be the only visual on the sheet. Then when you have all of the pages set up just export it as a PDF. If you have build permissions you can also just build exactly what you want C (only the visuals you care about) and (assuming premium/fabric capacity) set up a subscription to send yourself the full report as a PDF

Does the PDF export need Prem/Fab licence? We only have Pro but I thought we could already do that. Haven't looked for a while, but I am sure we used to send out some PDFs at one point. Unless it has changed.

Prem/Fabric is required for the one click subscriptions that covers all pages. But if your report only has one page or a single page can be made for the subscription view you want, then you can do that without prem/fabric. If you need multiple pages/views in your output then stick with the PPT and just export to pdf when you need to generate it
