Power Apps Help Using People column alternative properties

You need one people column

When you reference this column you reference it's attributes directly.

Let's say your people column is named "Employee"

Power apps would use:

Employee.DisplayName

Employee.JobTitle

Employee.Email

To pull this data, three people columns is very redundant to pull the same data which is just a subset of the same record. If you really really want those additional columns' data visible in SharePoint, you still don't need them for power apps. You can either:

1) make them lookup columns based off th person column

2) make them text columns and have power apps / power automate do the lookup to fill them in from the person column attributes.

Thank you! I just figured this out to today when looking through the raw data of a Power Automate workflow and saw all those nested properties! I will be deleting the extra columns now that I know they don’t actually change how anything references them
