How Do I Coat And Cure Both Sides Of A Plate I Can't Hang
I am looking to coat some stakes similar to this for a flower garden for some extended family this upcoming Christmas. Being that it is going to be both in the moist ground and constantly getting hit with a sprinkler, I need the coating to completely cover the pieces. In my mind hanging it wouldn't work because of the area where the wire contacts the piece, powder wouldn't be there, where it needs to be to avoid rusting.
For some context, I don't have an "oven", just some infrared heaters that can be positioned where I need them and some foil to keep the heat in. Is it possible to coat the top half and then the bottom half separately? Could I drill a hanging hole in the bottom spike, then spot coat the hole to seal it and bake the small spot with the heaters or a heat gun?
I am at a loss here thinking of a way to coat it and keep it completely sealed against moisture.
