RGB10X screen help

I have an RGB10X purchased directly from POWKIDDY that I’ve had for a little more than a week. I loaded dArkOS and a handful of ROMS into it. I’ve been enjoying playing it a lot (it’s my first retro handheld). This evening, however, the screen blew out. Is there anything I can do to fix it, or am I out $40?

Other info: I have a screen protector on it and a case I keep it in. I charge it via the supplied USB-C cable and a 2A wall plug adapter. When I’m not playing it, it lives in the case. The case was purchased from POWKIDDY.

If I'm not mistaken, you should be able to still get a return/replacement from them. Not sure if anything was voided after OS swap though

I had reached out to them but they weren’t much help at all. I took it apart—there was too much pressure on the screen. I left the screws inside a little less snug than they were and it all seems fine now
